In case if you are interested in USA VDS which is dedicated unlike VPS.
Often see new Gen AMD VPS GeekBench6 benchmark 20% of the power of our VDS.
VDS 1: Geekbench 6 Benchmark Test:
---------------------------------
Test | Value
It really will depends how many developers will be using the git server as to how much resources you will need too. Anyhow, if you can spend a little more, you can get VDS dedicated power.
Will throw in 30 day free trial. Just send me your order number in a DM when placed with Bitcoin. Can decide later if you keep the VDS and we change the order and invoice CC stripe (or keep bitcoin invoice if you want)

This NVMe storage VPS fits very well:
They have similar (CPU and RAM varies) and larger NVMe plans, as well as hybrid storage offers (SSD / HDD).
Hi,
https://layer7.net/cloud-server
starts with 3,xx EUR / month for FR or DE location
Hi, do you want our Genoa M plan?
I can provide you one.
https://prohosting24.net/genoa
We maybe able to provide you a server on our budget nodes based in the UK.

Unesty VPS
4x vCore Ryzen 7950x / 2 GB / 64GB / 10gig data port

customer since Nov 2023
And what is the commit ratio for CPU?
Are they rate limiting CPU or just overcommitting?
Do they use memory ballooning?
Thin disk provisioning?
How many VPS are they going to fill into this host with 16 cores giving 4 cores to this VPS?
Thanks!
I can’t even think of running Windows OS on 1 dedicated vCore VDS since GB6 score is too low, not to mention $10/monthly cost.
VPS questions unanswered anyway
is your $10/month VPS with one dedicated core HT …. strong enough to run Windows Server OS ?
The ultimate test is vps/vds performance.
I have not tested windows server os, but that's a good question. Might do that as the requirements are met: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-server/get-started/hardware-requirements?tabs=cpu
The main reason we do not use Windows Server OS as a VDS template is that we extend support for OS and apps best effort, and while we could support it, would be stretch outside the linux OS we already have. What I can do is extend a 1 month trial for LET members where any x86_64 OS ISO can be uploaded to the system to install and test.
That being said, it's outside topic of this. DM me if you want a trial VDS.
When have you ever seen a VPS with a GB6 Single Core score of *236? Even oversold Intel garbage usually hits ~400
*20% of 1182 == 236
one picture == 999 words
@dev_vps Does this git server in this discussion use windows? I believe this is off topic. DM me or start another thread to compare vds and vps at < $3 per month ( which is a loss and bad service to do that by any host, 1 ipv4 these days >$3 nowadays, only way that host can profit is having free network, power, and free/owned hardware plus historical own ipv4 if it even has one. Unsustainable unless they are bait switching, plans to overload the bps hypervisor) You also can idle windows server on anything as long as nothing is running on it
A vps that is strong enough to run Windows Server OS is usually good enough for git server.
Look at the screenshot again and you will realize that it is not idling.
Look at this offer from @oplink
https://my.oplink.net/store/amd-ryzen-3900x-vps/2gb
50 TB bandwidth and 10g data port
I have been @oplink customer for many months
Highly recommended
+1 for @Bullethost
Here are 2 on GB6 within the last week:
Check the LET YABS thread and check GB6 score reported by LET members. You can refer to my posts as well.
There are 15+ premium LET providers, you should compare their GB6 scores and VPS offers vs your offers.
You are competing against reputed LET premium providers, not with the lowest of the crappy providers.
Example - Racknerd $29/ year offer
And check GB5 and GB6 scores

GeekBench yabs are awesome on new empty hosts, until they are not anymore because overloaded. Not sure why you insist, but I know what I'm talking about, I've hosted in many providers and networks. I'm not saying you do not know cheaper VPS or even VDS, even with better GB6, but we do not race to the bottom < $1 / month because we provide support and it's not sustainable to do what these hosts are doing even with no support. So many just disappear overnight because they do not care and realize it's unsustainable and not profitable. There is a saying, "Cheaper you go and the more you end up paying." One way or another that is what happens.
@CharityHost_org
I have been a customer for 2+ years with some of the premium LET providers. And I speak with my own personal experience.
Good luck with your sales.
That is not a very long time. But thank you for best wishes!
