They can't seem to get tickets to open properly now. Is it possible to reach them in the forum?

Hello and thank you for contacting LowEndSupport!
My name is @brueggus and I am happy to assist with your query.
The original ovh 18.99 euro sys-ssd-32 bandwidth may or may not be upgraded to 500M.
Kindly do the needful.
Kind regards

Their support’s guess is just as good as anyones guess on here, honestly.
Probably no. Someone asked the support about Kimsufi bandwidth and they stated that these are new product lines, so old ones BW parameters will not be changed.
However as I see the new ranges prices better than old ones so if you switch from a sys one to kimsufi equal, you probably get better price-performance ratio. Exception are the sys-5 and higher models, which provided 500 Mbps, however, the SYS-1 hw better.
So if you want higher bw order a new config from the actual KS or SYS range and try to transfer the old one here. But keep in mind that if you have a normal config with price reduction (e.g. past year summer sale) the coupon can be lost at transfer process, someone mentioned this problem in this forum in the past.

No.
Even if the network gear changes in the DC, your server still has its unique info in some json format based on what you ordered. The upgraded hardware just reloads your configuration into itself.
Simply cancel and re-order if you wish to get upgrades.
This is for a reason. They want to phase out the old hardware in order to save in electrical costs, but mainly to save in workhours to avoid the DC staff having to constantly change broken down servers.
If they keep upgrading your kimsufi, when do you think they can retire that old E3 CPU you have been using for years if you never cancel lol.
Gazing into the crystal ball... Oh, absolutely!
OVH is just itching to give away free upgrades, and any day now, they'll surely bump that 18.99 euro sys-ssd-32 bandwidth to 500 Mbps out of the sheer kindness of their hearts.
I mean, who doesn't love a surprise gift, right? Just keep refreshing their webpage, it's bound to happen... eventually... maybe... or not.
