can an american explain how a company from nevada is incorporated in wyoming. is this common or is this an error in the AUP?

Very common. Easy for businesses and no corporate income tax.

Sorry, not american, don’t read the above.

    That is allowed.

Claiming that UP Police site is a customer — is definitely a red flag. 🚩

fascinating! was just checking. AUP looks as boilerplate as they come so will be placing an order after this debate thing everyone is talking about

You can be in Antarctica, or on the space station and incorporate in Delaware. Gotta go, debate starting now.

Thanks for bringing that up. That site is hosted, but maybe not legit. You can also claim that contacting us at [email protected] Appreciate the note!

Just wondering, what is the primary concern for members? That a host will disappear with your money, not provide what is paid for, or claiming to be web host and not being a web host?

Sorry for asking, but this level of bloody scrutiny for a new host is quite absurd.

I noticed the logo of Utttar Pradesh Police on your website.

    — Uttar Pradesh is an Indian state.

Right. A customer has a site for this.

I highly doubt that a foreign government site will contact you for it.

    RED FLAG

Ok I will ask the customer directly again. What are you suggesting otherwise to suspend the site? Here is the customers site. https://clicklatest.com/locator/

I don’t think he is allowed to use UP police logo.

I do not know that is the case, but we are investigating this now. For the time being I removed it to calm your worries. I believe it is related to a private security company in india that is hosted and is linked to UP at some level or another.

That is the definition of a VDS on KVM virtualization. If it's not allocated dedicated resource, they are overcommiting 'whatever' then it is not a VDS.

So it is expected that you will have no more than 70 VPS on a host node assuming all are VDS 1.

 You must be kidding. No way anywhere close to that many until we get larger hosts with 128 cores and then we wont put 142 on it. We are putting less than total cores on each host, again that is VDS

No. That is privilege you can get with dedicated servers. Not VDS here. vCPU is the nomenclature for cpu threading.

Not bad, but a bit on the expensive side (the recurring price is $10/month). I guess if the support ends up being 'better' than average, I wouldn't mind.

    (don't need another idling VPS)

    Recurring price
    billing

Edit: I should make it clear that the "requested cancellation" in the screenshot is because I don't want another idling VPS. The performance so far seems to be holding up (and the single core score is close to one of my home servers with a similar CPU -- the 2697A v4). Can't have more when I already have 10+ idling servers :P

For the record, we have 24/7 support ticket system. Chat is available in Pacific US time zone work hours. Phone support is not included unless arranged as a VIP customer. We support customers to a great extent that most hosts would laugh at as 'out of scope'. Take it with a grain a salt if you wish. One of things I pride of CharityHost.org is that we do not burn our customers. We are aware of the state of the hosting industry and try to make a difference from this. Try it for yourself, basically, buy us a beer for $5, and if you dont like it get your money back in 30 days.

Does the customer receive a fire extinguisher?
If not, how do you ensure the customer doesn't burn?

Dont be silly. You know what I mean. How many times have you bought a VPS or a web hosting plan only to be bait switched? Honestly, you are being funny.

Not bad, but a bit on the expensive side (the recurring price is $10/month). I guess if the support ends up being 'better' than average, I wouldn't mind.

Yes, but you can purchase up to 3 years with this discount. Can you find a better solutions for VDS in USA for that? Please, let me know.

    Absolutely
$8 vds from a provider ending with Brr is a much better offer.

I have shared the info, since you asked
