What's your favourite cloud UI?
What's your favourite cloud UI?
I've gone through a bunch today, like Vultr, DigitalOcean, Hetzner, Linode and a handful of others...so far I think Vultr does a real great job, whereas DigitalOcean is not as simple/slick as I remember it. I still think Amazon Web Services (AWS) is the worst of what I tried...Who is your favourite?

Mzungu Hosting ftw.
VPS UI/UX : Vultr
Domain Stuff UI/UX : Spaceship
VPS Control Panel UI/UX: Virtfusion
Vultr's just loaded with features. works well and is smooth and logical.
Spaceship - don't really use it but the UI is notably awesome and stupidly easy to use.
Virtfusion - There just are no comparisons here. I tolerate using the other control panels because don't really have a choice in the matter, but VF > all, especially when the provider decides to set up all the bells/whistles properly.
Host: Hetzner Console
Panel: CloudPanel

Can this phone number get a local (Swedish) ham?
Google Cloud. Occasionally it can be slow, but it at least works. The big cloud players are optimized for infinite scaling and tradeoff some speed, so it's understandable. I like that they leverage the URL with proper query strings and fragment. You can copy a URL and it actually goes back to the same exact page with the same state, filters, etc. The search is also good, but you won't need it because it's well organised and you can pin things/customise the sidebar with stuff you need most often.
Worst is definitely OVH. Downloads 10s of MB of bloat just to open, terribly slow and not organised in any sensible way. Many features broken, deprecated or abandoned, but left in the panel. Also the separate regional logins no doubt confuse some people.
I guess it depends who the target group is, but ya - Google Cloud is slick as well, I like how they mix it with documentation all across their platform. Though, simple it is not...
Yeah I was trying to work with it (free credits) on a small web project using Gemini API and found it a little overwhelming.
Ditto - same as AWS and Azure...
Are you doing free community research for your next investment ? What happened with all vps.net/cloud.net ventures ? Where is Carlos ?
yes
Sold UK2Group (vps.net) in 2011 and OnApp (cloud.net) a few years ago
He is doing great, enjoying life in the Azores, taking care of his chickens and picking bananas in his garden
