EvosHosting use 7950x3d/7950/5950x with Good price
Evos took the vps offer off the site, so I'm looking further.
You want that power to run yabs ?
If you plan to run light tasks you can find something for half the budget with less power
There are some great deals on black Friday if you can wait until then. But there are great deals all year round.
I find your budget a little low for this type of CPU and this number of cores, if you want a reliable provider that doesn't oversell too much.
All the offers I have in mind to recommend are above your budget.
You can find some good offers based on epyc genoa too.
But single-core performance is still lower than that of the ryzen 7950
Thanks @remy, the problem is that I need this VPS for maybe 50-60 short tasks in a year, 95% of the time it will stand idle. However, I want it to be accessible at any time. With this yabs was a joke, I noticed that everyone here loves put yabs results.
My current VPS ends in 3 months so if no one offers anything I'll wait for BF, it's no problem.
Just looking for a good special offer, maybe someone has something like this:)
Is it already possible to see how many and what kind of offers there will be on BF, is it somehow transparent or more of a surprise?
I spoke with Davide yesterday to buy a reseller plan Amd said that tomorrow/the day after tomorrow they should reopen sales, I'm waiting too I cancelled the last vps due to performance problems but after speaking with Davide he explained the situation to me and I trusted him
read my last reply
It’s a surprise
You can check the thread of last year to have an idea what the offers look like during this period here:
https://lowendtalk.com/discussion/190145/2023-black-friday-cyber-monday-flash-sale-megathread/p1
But in fact it's not exhaustive, as some providers open a dedicated thread to post offers.
But it can give you an idea if it's worth waiting or not
What Evos have in offer and in what prices? When I arrived here they had a disabled offer already, I did not have time to learn about it.
Do you really think I can trust them? I saw few comments here on let to avoid them.
Personally, I don't want to hear any more from this provider.
For me, they're incompetents who sell oversold crap. So unless you want a server with crap performance but still have a ryzen cpu... it's an option.
in the last month he has had many performance problems due to what was communicated for DHL delays in the delivery of some servers, he told me that they have activated many ryzen nodes and will activate others this week I have noticed a large increase in servers also in the status page I recommend you contact Davide directly on Discord or Edoardo on telegram who can help you, tell him that you want to try the vps if you are satisfied you pay for it 1 year in advance I don't think he will say no to you
This is my tip or search other provider
@remy lol thats truly a lot, 300 offers and i have only 70 usd to spent yearly on vps, what companies i should stick to? i dont know market so good, bf/cf is like should i stay here 24/7, how fast bests offer lasts? they have high volume of resources or just a bit
everyone is free to choose I have always had problems with the hosting I have used including Hetzner ovh etc but no one who is made available like Davide also agreed to make a call. I appreciate the small gestures, I always give confidence and I see that he is working to improve himself and his company
That's clearly the problem with this forum, and it's even truer during Black Friday. It's a breeding ground for scams and low-quality providers.
But there are also some very solid and serious providers in all this mess.
That's why I don't recommend flash offers to novices. The offers go quickly, leaving little time to make up your mind, and without knowing the company, it's a bit of a gamble.
But there are plenty of other threads with offers that last much longer, and in general there's always feedback from customers over several years.
I hope I've helped you a little.
Thanks again @remy, I didn't expect that there is such a nice and helpful community for newbies.
I think I already know everything thanks to you, maybe some company will come forward if not nothing will happen too, I still have 3 months to change.
I've tested a lot of suppliers, and have done so for years.
And very, very few other providers have offered me an experience as horrible as theirs. Several offers not honored, VDS with 50% CPU steal, lies.
I hope they improve, but I won't be renting from them again any time soon.
And I have to say this to anyone who wants to rent a server year-round with payment in advance.
personally I recommend on what I try today on all those I have tried for dedicated servers I recommend evos for vps and vds we have to see if they fix the performance if it is solved my favorite would be evos
If you want to search the LET website for earlier deals/posts that have words what you mentioned, then try this link : here ... and then modify search words in google to fine tune your search, if you want to ... it may help to find earlier deals/offers/etc ...
or wait for others to post offers / info.
By the way, dont put comment/question in old thread (which have no recent comments) ... LET mods dont want that.
Take note, search in google or contact the message/offer poster.
