I didn't received this email, now my server in AMS lost connection, and I don't have any backup.
is this really the end? and shall I get a full refund from paypal?
It's long gone. You should be more amazed your server stayed running 2 weeks past the announced end date (which was announced a month before shut down)

Not a bad strategy!
This one should serve as an example of how to shut down gracefully. Obviously, more time the better, but a solid month notice and full refunds was the best deadpool outcomes I've witnessed here.
