What could cause website down?
So today my newly website (about 5 days old) just went down.
hetrixtools shows:

-ping: the domain name: Packet Summary 100% Loss
-Ping: IP Address of the shared hosting account:

- Check the shared hosting account DNS Management look fine.
- Check the Domain registrar account: look fine.
- Check the 1984 FreeDNS account: look fine.
Out of idea.

Contact the hosting provider for support?
have you contacted who the host is?
does the hosts status page show any maintenance or ongoing issues,
maybe a DDOS?
I couldn't find the hosts status page. This is from hetrixtools:

I don't think it was DDOS. Because Resource usage were very low :

Bandwidth usage in the last 24 hours also was very low.
When it is not up
Bad records, They may have looked right, worked, when the Net settles all is revealed
Old cpu, is this ihostart?
Is the IP address in ping the same as the host provided you for your website?
it's the same ip address that is assigned to my shared hosting account.
Basically everything the same. Except that I use DNS from 1984 website.
The strange thing was everything work (ping-able). Only my domain name was down for hours.
The DirectAdmin of the shared hosting account also works.
Btw, it fixed itself?

I did not change anything at all. It was just fixed?
If it was Bad records, it should be still down, right?
Jesus Christ, three days and nobody said to check the logs.
@Chuck how did you become webmaster for a site you don't know how to webmaster?
I don't know man. In today's world, they like to hire DEI people.
I was flipping burgers, just got hired by a tech company recently. I still couldn't believe it. the résumé was a mess with 2-year associate's degree in college.
congratulations, now you can afford unprocessed meat.
