I would recommend running NoMachine for remote access when running Linux desktop. Much smoother than VNC and xRDP.
and for the folks, NoMachine is not opensource, it is a freeware.
and a bonus point if you're setting up a RDP to use at school where you can't install applications(default nomachine installer is not portable.)

Been happy with my Racknerd services the last couple years. I'm always holding out for double bandwidth though
I am very happy with the performance of the Racknerd chickens. I have been using Racknerd chickens for several years in multiple locations. The boss is also a kind person.
I only have one complaint for the boss, the DC2 4134 line explodes during peak hours
