I've seen many offers in LET and most time asia costs more than other locations. Is it important to have the server near you or it doesn't impact much if the server is for websites and/or backups.

What do you think?
For me I think if for hobby then location is just ok. But I'm not sure if the internet speed will be too slow for backups.
