if you installed their templates sure but dedis? ISO self installs?
https://www.virtualizor.com/docs/admin/rescue-mode/
im not reading that shit my dedis dont use it
A provider asking their customers for login credentials to their server is wild.
That isn't an option for any serious production server. You can't just give random people access to your company and customer data, even if you think they can be trusted.
yap yap yap
I cant find a logical answer for that...
In my case its a vps so they could use it
and it speaks for itself if they still using passwords instead of keys
for example, there is a rescue mode dedicated server with great services.
for example:
ovh
Hetzner
oneprovider
hivelocity
etc
if the customer reports a problem and we don't see anything from the outside we are forced to check the operating system for example today they open a ticket for us saying that the SSD was very slow and from the outside everything was ok we had the credentials provided we did the tests and we verified that everything was ok the customer can request screen recording during the intervention and you have a copy at the end of the intervention
Shortened for the demographic reading this shitstorm of a thread.
YOU DONT SEE ANYTHING FROM THE OUTSIDE?
So no problems with your systems atm?
People keep posting their low geekbench scores ...
all the new nodes work fine if you read our communications we have scheduled maintenance tonight for the other vps
If you define by "up and running" then yes you are right but if you define it by "user gets what advertised" then its a clear "no".
You are in some kind of maintenance since 3 weeks.

For Migration to new Node
More info: https://status.evoshosting.com
make a backup... it's better if you have one, I learned from pfcloud's mistake.
No data will be lost,
are live migration the system migrates the vps and once it has verified that the transfer is complete it deletes the old vps
UPS, DHL, broken cpu, mainboard, oversell, performance drops, ...
63 VPSs were affected by performance slowdowns in total,
all the rest worked with a 1.2 per cent performance drop
We have almost completed the migration,
if you still encounter problems, please open a ticket and we will solve it in a few minutes
EvosHosting would like to apologise for the problems caused this week,
we have managed to solve them in the shortest possible time.
We expect vps storage to be ready this week.
Thank you for your trust and patience,
Many offers will be back soon, stay tuned on

what would yall consider to be a normal score?
Let's hope this is the last time i have to restart the VPS (new IP address this time, 3rd so far).
Best i/o and cpu and ram low memory and best network:
Ubuntu / Debian:
Optimize your server OS:
Set ulimit parameters on your ubuntu server. Check ulimit with this command:
Run
ulimit -umodprobe nf_conntrackif it was 1024 then we need to increase it as follow
Edit:
nano /etc/security/limits.confadd the following lines to the end of your file:
Then save and close the file.
Edit sysctl.conf - sysctl preload/configuration file
Edit:
nano /etc/sysctl.confadd the following lines to the end of your file:
Then save and close the file.
run this command:
sudo sysctl -pafter reboot, run these commands again to verify your changes:
Run:
ulimit -u-> should show 500000
Run:
sudo sysctl -p-> should show the above values
VPS is down since yesterday.

have you received an invoice yet?
Today I thought the whole thing was a joke.
12-day vps.
In 12 days there was a slowdown for 4-5 days, 1 day of network outage.
and you should pay, but there is time until the 2nd of September.:::
isn't the bill early?
This is a notification that an invoice was generated on Monday, August 19th, 2024.
Your payment method is: Bank Transfer
Invoice No. 995 Amount Due: €9.80 EUR Due Date: Monday, September 2nd, 2024
Thankyou working perfect:
Test | Value

Multi Core | 8733
Why whats wrong?
I come sometimes to this thead to read and I feel that some of you make drama for nothing here. Makes me shake my head sometimes.
Just to say. We do same. Invoice is generated 2 weeks before due date. And is due on due date. In fact most providers do this 7-14 days before due date. Its market standard.
Or whats the hint? The downtime? Then you Need to Open Ticket with them
There something i dont get in your post.
You ordered 2. August and got the server 2nd august, right?
So then now is 19. August. In 2 weeks its 2nd September. So if the provider generates the invoice 2 weeks before due date then its today.
Of course doesnt mean that its due today but in 2 weeks. You dont have to pay it until 2. september anyway.
Market standard 7-14 days.
yes, I understand, but a delay of 4-5 days can be compensated by 4-5 days.
because the service was unusable.
