I was shocked using Netcup VPS

Hello folks

I had been using VPS not just 1 or 2 years
Years almost 10years in US, Asia,

German VPS like Contabo
But I just 7 days using Netcup with their VPS 1000 ARM G11 NUE
and I got this when I need to reinstall OS

I think I can't handle any laziness for their kind of service like this
And my mind suddenly got confused

what kind of VPS they offer anyway ?
Dont ever think of refering RS or higher price
if the low products just like this

I am totally dissapointed

Please note that you have a virtual server with us. We only provide you with the runtime environment. Unfortunately, we cannot provide you with support for individual software configurations and the setup of your system.

Once your system has been set up, we no longer have access to your system for security reasons. The completion of the setup as well as the configuration is therefore your responsibility.

    If you seem to be able to handle VPS, why are you bothering support for a new installation?
    Or what am I misunderstanding here?

    this is unmanaged service, what did you expect, that they are going to build you unicorn for free?

    If you're getting an error about not finding a template, not being able to load a provider-provided ISO, etc. then yeah, that's on Netcup.

    If you don't know how to install, it's on you.

    Which is it? What error did you get?

    Its unmanaged. You can buy from Anexia if you need managed vps.

    Why do I need to buy MANAGED if Installation is a piece of damn EASY JOB to do ?

    Re-Installation has been done.

    The Only problem is in Support hand
    that hard to explain,
    Re-Installation could be done from SCP
    and there are many options and Linux Distribution Installations from there

    What is hard to explain these to new user instead of
    We can't helped you since after the first time installation you are in charge with your own server and cant be reinstalled

    Which one better ? You choose wisely.

    And, to me at least, their support has been very easy to deal with. I had one request (a little special) about account verification, they solved it extremely fast even though I didn’t exactly perform the exact steps they laid out.

    I had another billing related question, took a little longer but got a response explaining exactly what I wondered, kind of rare these days for companies to actually take the time to understand exactly what you’re wondering instead of pasting in some generic reply requiring some emails back and forth.

    Really like this provider thus far.

    Edit: I’m also using 100 % CPU often. I don’t htop often, but I do when things are running slow to see what’s using up all my CPU. Steal has always been 0 even with 100 % usage (but as said, no automatic checks).

    Did you ask where to find the reinstallation function or did you ask directly for the server to be reinstalled?
