Alexhost.com - Seeking Feedback
Hello,
We're excited to bring a revolutionary dedicated server offer to the market and would like to create an attractive plan for clients. We are considering introducing a new plan at a competitive price, but we need your advice to gauge interest.
Here's the proposed configuration:
Motherboard: MACHINIST X99 PR9 LGA 2011-3
CPU: 1 x Intel Xeon E5-2690V3 (12 Cores, 2.6 GHz)
RAM: 8 GB 2400MHz DDR4 with upgrade options
Storage: 128 GB SSD/NVMe with upgrade options
Port speed: 1 Gbps shared
The price for this configuration would be €75 per month.
Would this configuration interest you? We would be grateful for any feedback you can provide.
Thank you!

11.88€/yr is my interest
my feedback is:
dedicated super expensive
"Romenia" is Romania
why Romania when you're next to them? it's only a few ms away.
why Norway when you have Sweden? literally next to it.
my 2 cents, America and/or Asia
me i interested 11.69€/yr
Me interested in $11.11/yr
E5-2690V3 (when the E5-2699V3 is like 20€ more), shoddy Chinese motherboard, only 8 GB of ram, only 128 GB of SSD for 75€/month is honestly kind of overpriced.
I get that it's a server that allows content that attracts legal problems (and thus there must be a premium), but it feels like you're being stingy on things that are extremely cheap (only 8 GB of ram, when it costs like 15€ to upgrade to 16 GB of ram).
If I had to guess it's probably to encourage people to move to more costly tiers with more ram even though they may not need more cpu power or storage.
And looking at the pricing of your dedicated servers, I have to say it's kind of weird. For example, when choosing the i7-9700 server, it says in multiple places that 8 GB is the minimum included amount of ram. But when configuring the server, the real included amount is 4 GB and you have to pay an extra 6.6€ for the 8 GB.
And on a post from 2021 I've found on another forum you were advertising the same i7-9700 server, but with 16 GB of ram instead of 4 GB, for only 70€/month instead of the 156€/month nowadays (and 175.8€ to match the 16 GB).
In the post you say you're applying a 23% discount, so 70/0.77 = 90.91€/month without a discount. Why is the price nowadays almost double what it was less than 3 years ago for the same exact (and already paid off) hardware?
Depending on the use case the Apple M1 for 65 EUR/month on your site can be a better deal than this at 75 EUR/month.

Hi, you can see by the date the reason why
A lot has changed in the world, and so have our prices. Energy is more expensive, we have our own datacenter, we've increased our capacity both in the datacentrer and in other aspects.
Our network has changed slightly, everything has become more expensive than usual. Of course, it could be cheaper.
You can see that we offer more services than we used to.
It's been noted.
In this case, we just wanted to know your opinion on the configuration.
€75/year would be a good price, but monthly? Hell no!
What is the problem to put 64/128 RAM?
It will cost you 50-100€ at most, but it will increase the chance that it will be bought from you, now VPS on Amd ryzen for 10€ will be much more powerful than this ancient server.
I am interested in VPS in Asia
