What CPU you can offer in that price range?

Chromium can run smoother on a Debian or FreeBSD with some LXDE desktop.

If you compile and run xRDP from the github repo and not from sources it's actually super fast. It feels like it was on pair of windows RDP.

Found this, they have Windows templates (trial versions) and support installation from custom ISOs:

    ColoCrossing — $2.42 / month
    3 Intel Cores (shared)
    4096 MB RAM
    100 GB SSD
    20480 GB/month bandwidth
    1.0 Gbps port speed
    IPv4
    USA

Have you tried running youtube video, even at 360p, on a Linux OS desktop with RDP?

In my experience, nothing comes close to Windows RDP.

It's still pretty good. Perfect? Fuck no, but I mean, that's passable. This is on a VPS in Texas, no GPU. (I live in the east coast.)

XRDP is awful from repo. Like just fucking awful. It's like a night and day difference when you use the latest version from github.

Windows RDP is on an economical VPS
Running youtube video at 2k resolution

Windows RDP on 2 vCore Ryzen / 2 GB memory / pretty inexpensive
