So, in past few days there was random outages and atm their website is unreachable.

On search they are classified as "premium" provider, but it seems those claims are false as in reality services are subpar.

Here is July stats of uptime:

    Hey!

you're absolutely right. We also have currently another network issue. We're actually fully dependend to our network and datacenter provider regarding the network. And their network is currently instable as it wasn't in the last 10 years we're customer there.

I just can say a big sorry to you guys.. We're heavily working on an alternative to this setup, because this isn't our standard and not what we stand for.

    Thanks, Marco

IP-Projects? According to bgp.tools they are your only upstream.
And according to https://ip-projects.de/de/company/staff you work there, what is the relationship between ST-Hosting and IP-Projects?

Yep, that right. We're using the IP-Projects Router and they're announcing our AS as virtual session on their redundant router stack. So the dependency is currently "high" :)
We're working on other concepts to reduce the dependency.

Yep the relationship between IP-Projects and me: I'm a freelancer for IP-Projects, responsible for their Microsoft Setups, Sophos Setups and all Exchange Products.
And additional to this, I'm a normal housing customer there since more then 10 years with our infrastructure.

  • I only used this provider for a short time a while ago but it was very stable during that time and support was nice. I guess they are having a bad time right now.

Hello very sorry to interrupt with an unrelated question BUT do you now how to submit a false positive ip block result to sophos? As they are totally unresponsive to any communication attempt other than their paying customers.

Sure, no Problem. You can go to this page: https://support.sophos.com/support/s/filesubmission?language=en_US - then click "Web Address (URL)" and then you can submit your URL for recategorization. Sophos doesn't block IPs, they block URLs. Or do you mean a spam classification? Then it's the same way, but you need to choose "Spam Mail" :)
