** Currently I am renting dedicated servers and sell them as VPS and RDS **
Well you get new clients by trying to fill a gap somewhere in the market, by offering a quality service and making yourself visible.
You can never defend yourself against clients that use services for malicious activities you can only try and minimize it by using fraud detection tools, closing access to certain ports known to be used for unwanted activities and by being selective with who you do business with.
Never check your users activity. Act on abuse notices but looking into their servers is a no go.
Yes I never look into their servers, can you tell me which ports should be blocked? Like port 25?

Need more deals, less sillyness
Yes, but how to be safe from illegal stuff?
if I start doing KYC or maybe phone number verification then people start ignoring my service
If you get report you can just message the client to take action that is everything you have to do, you are service provider

Do not get into this business unless you have a concrete business plan and good money to build reputation in first two years with zero profit.
Make sure you have staff with A+ sysadmin technical expertise.
Do not wish for learning skills while building your business.
And, last and the most important, time is the most ruthless teacher. Jugaad does not work in long run.
Yes, I have a clear business plan, but I am not sure how the legal aspects of VPSs and servers work.
I have hired L2 support from the data centre, which helps me with complicated issues. However, in the long run, I am learning how things work and putting my efforts into handling most of the technical stuff myself.
"Do not wish for learning skills while building your business." - I have already built some services (SAAS), and that journey has given me so much knowledge and learning, so I think if I don't start, I won't be able to learn anything and I think business is the best way to do it. Of course, I don't hamper my customer's business and do some random shit without knowing about it.
If you are available can I talk to you in private?

There is zero reason to switch from SaaS to IaaS when SaaS has much less hard costs, easier differentiability, and higher profit margins (along with fewer headaches).
My advice? Don't.
Correct, but I think SAAS ideas are very rare to get succeed, and here we are getting good sales after doing some marketing.
Defently I am not leaving my SAAS products.
