Millions LOST, all flee to LET Providers.
I am curious of the Cash-Backs in this case and tickets for the 2USD VPS they sell.
Huh, it didn't affect me here, everything is fine!
Most probably, MSFT rented out some VPS here on LET and the provider got recently a large DDOS. @Calin - is this because of you? .
There is no To Big to FAIL in this industry. You can have a bad day because of a ton of factors, hardware, software, misconfig and so on.
Fun part aside, hope that no one gets injured or worst. As taking down hospitals and crucial infrastructure is no fun at all, no matter how it is hosted/ run.
Eh, it didn't help that Azure US-central went down around 6pm causing all machines there to reboot once back.
Fix is safe mode + deleting a bad driver file. This could take weeks (think embedded machines and kiosks / displays)
But yeah CrowdStrike EDR screwed this.
Crowdstrike interns were bored clearly.
