Equinix using heat from their datacenter to heat neighborhoods and the 2024 Paris Olympic Pool
Equinix announced just recently that they are launching a new program that will take the residual heat from their Paris PA10 data center to not only heat the nearby homes and buildings but also the new Paris Olympic Aquatic Center. They also built a greenhouse on top of the data center that uses the heat to grow fruits and vegetables for the local community.
Awesome to see that Equinix is putting the heat generated from those servers to good use.
