Turkey VPS

TeoMTeoM Member

Hello Lowendtalk,
I'm searching for an vps in Turkey My wish would be a maximum of 12 euros per year. Own ipv4 that is not blacklisted.

I only want to use vpn wireguard on the system nothing more.

    The cheapest would be

    Rabisu — $3.48 / month (billed monthly)
    2 Intel Cores (shared)
    4096 MB RAM
    40 GB SSD
    50000 GB/month bandwidth
    1.0 Gbps port speed
    IPv4
    Turkey

Or you may pick something from eastern Europe, i.e. VPS-for-VPN has a tiny VPS with IPv4 in Romania for $9.50 / year.

Wouldn't recommend. Still waiting for my server's public IP to work for 5 days.
This has happened like 3 times already (in just like a few months) and need to open a ticket every single time. Those were usually quickly handled, but now they seem to ignore me.

@caasify SpotVM in Istanbul if you don’t care about 100% uptime and only use it occasionally. Their management UI sucks though but enough for a temporary VM, wouldn’t recommend for managing multiple instances. Performance, network both great.

Slightly above your wish but PQ Hosting has Wireguard servers in Turkey, if you pay for the year you get a 15% discount.

Tell him how bad it is... Heavily oversold ancient servers with network uptime on par with a dial-up connection.

    WARNING

awmbilisim currently tries dirty tricks! DO NOT TRUST THEM! STAY AWAY!

I told them via ticket that I wanted to cancel (not renew) my VPS with them. Their response was that canceling must be done via the panel - which of fucking course is in Turkish.

Background: the VPS will soon or is just about to run out (end of yearly billing cycle) and the emails I receive from them - of course in Turkish as well - seem to be about a new invoice, meaning they are likely to attempt to force me into renewing another year.

And that was the least "dirty" of the turkish providers I looked at.

    @awmbilisim FUCK YOU!

Average Turkish company. Just don't do anything. They will create an invoice related to next payment and will send you mails/notifications about it. When you don't pay, it will be cancelled automatically unless you saved your credit card to their payment system. Don't worry.

    Hello,

These are the established prices for our services, we want to help our customers as much as we can. You can find a better price, but it will be from low-end data centers and old hardware in Turkey.

Do you remember how much you defended this host?
If I were like you, I'd ask you to prove that this host is pushing you to renew without your consent. Or if it's just feelings Do you have any proof ? :D

Well, I have to go and act and speak based upon my experience. Which back then was positive or, more precisely, not bad with them. Your cynical remark would make sense if I'd still "defend" them, but I don't.
Being at that, the term "defend" often is very, very losely used here; usually when I'm accused of "defending" someone, I actually just refuse to blindly trust wild (and often evidently emotionally driven) accusations and join the lynch-mob.

It's simple: When I had no tangible basis to say they are somehow bad, I didn't. Now, that I do have a tangible basis to say they are bad, and concretely describe why I say it.

    Experience based on what?
So far you failed to show (with evidence) you are the victim of an attempt to force you to renew a contract.
You see, if you showed tangible and credible evidence that @awmbilisim actually and really trying to scam I'd be on your side - but you didn't.

You don't need to answer, you'd answer yourself. And you risk entering an infinite loop. I prefer to prevent any call stack error :D
It's time to evolve, think about it. Open up to others. You can do it <3
