Will there still be dirt cheap dedi on Black Friday?
Yes!
Finally no more Epik?
Congrats! Have been a customer for over 2 years and all I can say 0 complaints.
Also, don't increase prices/remove discounts or cancel deals from previous years.
And, do you like GIFs?
Yes, we very much enjoy GIFs.
Do you know 128g ram, ssd 500 x4 was $20?
do you know Madonna was ones a virgin? now she is only half a virgin ?
congrats @ both parties
Epic press release: whole marketing talk, company profile, what this means, blablablabla
Gigahost press release: nothing, not even link to website or full legal name
Wish you (and me, as I have VPS there) best of luck, but this is kinda confusing.
It was only 128G + 2x500G for $20, you sneaky adding that 2 additional drives...
I am still confused why they moved from Epik to Gigahost and not stay independent.
I think they actually just did that.
You need to find Gigahost AS as company in Norway and see the structure of the owners.

also that name does not seems like a happy accident, quoting datacentermap.com seems like back to the roots?

Like a hot potato from hands to hands. Very alarming sign. There should be no production services with this provider.
You guessed what I was actually wanted to ask.
Nice.
@gigahost, will there be the return of Chief Happiness Officer(s)?
Ty for the info, at work so I can't do digging
Will there be any significant changes to TOS/privacy policy for existing customers? For example I use my server as seedbox so far so good, hopefully nothing changes in that regard?
Also it would be nice if you told more about "Gigahost". Who they are and who is behind and why they decided to buy you.
Tera to Giga
Sounds like a downgrade
No Epik, congratulation!
@gigahost is it valid to say that terrahost bought themselves back under a different name. Kinda parent company style?
glad they left Epik
Gigahost from Denmark, Terra from Norway...
Here is what i found on quora: The relationship between Denmark and Norway is very close and friendly. Yes, we consider each others as foreigners, but also as “siblings”.

Where did you get Denmark from? Both companies are listed in Sandefjord, Norway.
He mixed up with gigahost dot dk.
How long until next owner change? I’m betting sub 1 year
mega.nz will take over next time?
Until new owner will understand that ROI too long to recover and typical price increase does not cut it. Rob tried that - failed. Now new owners.
Same here!
because of money ? or maybe the rent is cheaper ?
