Probably but looking at his posting history i guess i'd trust the guy. Doesn't look like someone who'd throw away their forum persona for $30 to me. Disclaimer: I might be 100% wrong though.

That's a reasonable expectation, no? I have a ticket with @Calin regarding a potential transfer, it's #MQD-937554. So if you're wondering if the ad is legitimate, you can verify with him.

Makes no sense to pay in crypto first though? First transfer then pay, and if buyer scams, seller could very well just contact Calin to return the server, right? But with the other way around, the seller could just run away with the money (not saying OP will).

Anyways, seems like a great deal for a secondary backup server, assuming the uptime and actual network speed is acceptable.
