InterServer packet loss?

I have a server on InterServer that often experiences packet loss, but there are no reports on the status page. I'm considering moving my DirectAdmin instance elsewhere. Has anyone else had a similar experience? The support team hasn't been very helpful. This has been going on for about a week or more.

Can you pm me your details and I will check this. https://interserver.statuspage.io/incidents/7k058kvfrtrq and https://interserver.statuspage.io/incidents/zcvsgpmbpzzr from yesterday addressed a possible cause. If its ongoing, and its directadmin, and csf firewall is installed which is default something that comes to mind is ICMP_RATE limit is probably on in csf.

Have seen quite some network glitches in the last couple of weeks, normally just for some minutes but those come and go.

Sorry for the periods of packet loss. We will have one or two more maintenance windows shortly to address the instability issues over the last month.

Hey there! Just a heads up - it's not DirectAdmin, it's InterServer uplink. Unfortunately, the connection has been dropping almost daily for the past weeks. I've been keeping an eye on it with HetrixTools, and the uptime hasn't been great. Is there a status page for this issue? I tried LiveChat, but it said there were "no problems" even though there clearly are. Anyway, I hope this can be resolved soon. Our web hosting customers are having a tough time. Thanks for your help!

    Did you have this weekend?

@TheBox not this weekend I think but e.g. tonight at about 1:30 UTC and about a week ago the same. Always just a 1 or two minute network glitch, so this is a "problem gone before you open a ticket" situation.

The dashboard of interserver client portal was under heavy load at one time (Sunday?) at the weekend if I remember correctly. But that solved as well.

Also @interservermike answered as well here about that they are aware of the problem and have planned on solving those. So I would just wait for them to solve this.

As I also have multi-provider redundancy everywhere with automatic failovers I have a 100% uptime of my systems even if some backends, e.g. at interserver or elsewhere, may be down. You might want to think about that if uptime is important for you. No single server or provider will get you 100% uptime but you can build systems that have this uptime (I'm currently at 1000 days + of 100% uptime) without having the underlying single systems with 100% uptime each, every (normal) server will maybe have a 99.9+ % uptime at a good provider or 99.8+ % at most providers).

(The worst is just a up-down-up-down-up-down-up-down-etc hiccup situation as these would imply switching to failovers back-and-forth again and again but I did not had that kind of situation with interserver at all in the some years I'm using them.)

I've been struggling for weeks with no website updates. I'm hopeful that a solution will come soon. In the meantime, I'll look into creating some form of redundancy. Thanks a bunch for your helpful tips!

Today, my Minecraft server experienced another small outage, resulting in 100% downtime. The issue was related to the InterServer network. It was quite frustrating! Thank you for letting me know about this.
