I've actually been trying to do this for a couple of days - it's driving me mad.
I have a dedi with plenty of space in Helsinki and rclone mount is just not playing ball the way I'd like it to - direct play works half the time, transcodes not at all.

Hmmm use the sftp port 23, will be faster

Thanks for the mention. Indeed, these are perfect for streaming. Can't wait we get to mass production later this year hopefully!

If there's not large enough storage available, OP can just buy a storage box as the bulk storage and mount with rclone, using the local nvme as cache.

Good stuff costs money, no way around it.

If it helps, due to dynamic pricing you always get the best pricing available at the time. 6months later that node could be 30€ or 60€ per month -- no way to tell. It's purely supply vs demand pricing.
