    Any business having physical presence in India has to charge GST from customers residing within India.

    I actually requested GST refund for all the purchases during my trip to India, as I am not required to be charged GST.

    Indeed. The issue is not about having to pay GST- I can claim that/ offset that. The issue is having to pay in USD when the service provider has a physical location/ registered address in India, (accountant will throw a fit) and the associated overhead of Paypal fees.

    I thought India issued cards can pay in USD as well.
    But then I may be wrong.

    Update - it is Contabo GmbH having servers in Bombay DC (not business setup in India), so it has to charge in USD, EUR, GBP.

    Its not just contabo, all providers are like that in India - Sri Lanka connectivity.

    What's wrong with their IO.... Are they transferring all low quality stuff to their Indian DC?

    Their IO is heavy limited. Usually does not go higher than 50MB/s. For small to medium websites without intensive write it is perfectly fine. Network is entirely different problem. And it is huge problem. Random, small outages are constant. 5-10 minutes no network every second day is normal with cunttabo.

    They are budget provider and expectations should be adjusted to that fact.

    just need to figure out the math how can 32TB is possible in india for just 5-6 bucks
