Hiring Paris Data Center Technician (Ad-hoc Contractor)
Sparked Host LLC is looking to recruit a new Data Center Technician to support our ongoing rollout in Paris, France. We're looking for an individual who has experience working with industry-standard enterprise server equipment who would be available to attend our data center in Paris France.
Requirements:
You'll need to be able to transport to the data center, either by public transport or car.
You'll need to be at least 18 years old due to insurance requirements. You'll be required to sign a non-disclosure agreement and provide identification to the data center on entry to prove your access authorization.
You'll need to have an excellent array of experience with server equipment (hardware and software) [diagnosing, building and racking].
You'll need to be able to travel to the data center with short notice (generally 2~ days notice).
Desires:
You'll ideally have some experience working with enterprise networking equipment.
You'll ideally be able to prove a high independence when working with enterprise server equipment.
You'll ideally have some experience working in a data center environment (although not required).
This is not a part-time/full-time position. This is a contracted position meaning there are some weeks you may not work at all and other weeks you work 20-30 hours.
We will be paying a flat hourly rate of 50 EUR/HR + transportation/travel costs. If interested in this position, please send an email to [email protected]

How do you expect a professional to keep burst/flexibility to scale to 30hrs a week from zero with 2 days noticed for 50EUR/HR?
You want a student, and that the max you're going to get, they will have no experience in the data center and nothing more possible network lab work at college/uni but for the above it's probably enough, there's a reason that on demand is sold 150-300/HR. .
I understand datacenter remote hands costs have gotten expensive, but..
