My apologies for not complete clarity.
This is 3 vCPU (non ryzen) and far more stable than ryzen vcpu, that was my point.
Not sure about cpu kind, probably xeon

Hi @zGato and @sh97 -- I sincerely apologize for any inconvenience. I can confirm that all 7950X nodes are Gen4 NVMe based only. When we first launched this product line, the market experienced an NVMe shortage and as such, we had to use Corsair Gen4 NVMe drives instead of our preferred choice, Samsung for the initial batch of nodes that were deployed.
Unfortunately, months later after deployment (the issue did not surface in early stages or in QA testing), we discovered a strange bug with the Corsair drives that causes slow I/O speeds to be reported in benchmarks, despite optimal temperatures and low I/O usage on the host node itself (as shown in iotop and other monitoring tools) after a KVM host node has been online past a certain period of time. We have reached out to Corsair with proof of the issue and believe it to affect virtualization environments, but have not yet received a resolution.
To address this problem, we have stopped deploying new Ryzen 7950X nodes with Corsair NVMe drives and have switched to using only Samsung 990 PRO PCIe 4.0 drives. Fortunately, only 8 physical hypervisors were ever deployed with the Corsair NVMe’s as these were the initial batch of nodes from when we first launched this product line back in the day. If your Ryzen VM is hosted on one of these 8 nodes, you may be experiencing such symptoms.
We have since locked off new orders from being automatically deployed on the older Corsair nodes, and all new 7950X orders are being deployed on the Samsung Gen4 NVMe-based nodes. Not only do the Samsung-based environments offer better performance, but they also tend to provide greater stability and reliability compared to the Corsair deployments.
We are still working on replenishing inventory throughout multiple locations for this product line, but in the meantime, if you are experiencing any issues (chances are, you are on a Corsair node), please send me an email at [email protected], and I will work on migrating your VM to a newer Samsung-based node.
