Providers Members considering for Prod / hosting client projects
By no means i am trying to be disrespectful to any of the LET providers, I know we all do our best to provide better service to our clients. I am trying to get a general feedback from the members about the providers that they would consider SOLID and trust them to host clients projects with Woocommerce.
I love to if every client would be happy to pay AWS, GC or AWS bills but for those who can't which providers would you consider to trust to ensure you are not getting the same experience as like 100s from NetCup at the moment.
I understand there are those bad days but not seeing any updates and tossing performance impact in shoddy TOS isn't going to help.

Inception hosting/clouvider
Greencloudvps
Server-factory/Heartbeat
Liteserver.nl
Hosthatch
Hetzner. Period.
@sthosting (https://st-hosting.com/) also has seriously impressive uptime. I've never tried to host anything resource intensive though but if you are feeling a little adventurous... They also have very friendly, fast and helpful support.
I would not recommend greencloud for production.
+1 Those guys are pretty solid and reliable too (at least they were a couple years ago).
@kuroit, @speedypage and @greencoludvps ( @NDTN ) @OVH_APAC and @Hetzner_OL provide reliable service. though it depends on your budget and requirements which providers will be good for you. in case you're not sure take service from anyone where hourly billing is supported and upgrade and downgrade is possible anytime like hetzner cloud.
BuyVM / NameCrane
Never been sure what to make of greencloud, tbh. My box there has pretty painful performance, but then it was a BFbirthday special so maybe it's just a terrible, overloaded node and I didn't exactly pay much for it...
I’m using some providers for production:
Netcup is the reason i am here asking recommendations. my sites on G11 are crawling.
@Francisco 's BuyVM.net (using it for my clients since 2019 - rock solid)
@speedypage 's SpeedyPage.com (have heard good about them from folks who use them and recommended them, I'll be signing up with their Wordpress hosting soon)
Vultr.com
Hetzner
Thats it.
Speedypage.
PHP-Friends @dataforest (I know about the drama about dedicated cores but support, network and uptime simply is premium)
And if 100% uptime isn't necessary @layer7
95% of my yearlies run fine, across a bunch of providers.
I would skip C1VHosting, suble.io, Virmach, anything else can be used for production.
Never had uptime issue with @layer7 although I’m not hosting critical apps there. Its the most cheapest 16GB RAM VPS I know with just 3.12 EUR/m (in yearly term).
Hetzner & OVH
You guys scare me lmao
Get the EX44
Fu... I am hosted by all five of them.
I have some production hefty-bloat wordpress which beyond repair on Hostcram @Shakib, I can tell performance was same since 2 years using.
A non-LET provider I rarely hear about is Linode. I've had a VPS with them from 2013 to 2019 and uptime was 100%
I had some small problems, once it was offline for an hour because there was some problem with live migration, and two or three times there was a problem with the storage system. But for the last three weeks both of my Layer7 VPS (one Mid CPU in Germany and one Ryzen in France) are running smoothly, and for the price it's great, but for production 99.6% availability might not be enough.
My personal recommendations that I use for "prod" stuff are all in my signature. 90% of them have over 6 months of uptime and even more. @Clouvider which is not there is also great for the past few months I've been using them (including their other brand/company Inception Host)
@TNAHosting which for some reason I haven't added them in the list (will do) has also been rock solid for me. @virtono as well has like 100% uptime in most of their locations.
@Shakib for a solid high-end cpu server (beware the cpu is fast my man)
@hosthatch a good + cheap server plus a lot of bandwidth (and i love hosthatch profile icon)
@labze ngl a pretty solid server for eu gang
@Hetzner_OL I only use their dedicated server but also a super solid one (3 years with no down time!)
hopefully I can recommend a server from @jordi soon but I still only use them not more than 1 month
My top three providers will be for Prod projects
@Clouvider
Reasons
1. Stable VPS with premium support
2. Distributed across US and UK
3. A+++ premium network
Hi,
hrhr, that hurts XD
But yes, the network is big. It can and does happen that product A has issues, while others dont. Especially with all this storage changes/adjustments there was some % loss. But over the year the % should come up to a normal value >99.9%
You know what else is big?
Thank you for your feedback! We really appreciate it!
Aws, ms and baidu. Go with very big players.
Wasn't meant negatively, my Ryzen VPS in France has an impressive 99.98% uptime, and the Mid CPU VPS with HDD has 99.6% uptime, which is absolutely fine for the extremely low price.
@crunchbits is guaranteed to not cause the problem you are having right now as they make a clear distinction between cores and threads and they pin them to you. Expect to pay more, of course.
Uptime wise, my InceptionHosting VPS in AMS looks to be living a pretty good life
