google ways to backup IMAP, it will work with mxroute just like anything else

I generally recommend MailStore Home for personal use.
@risharde Has also released a backup product that should be worth checking into. His products may be used commercially as well I believe, unlike MailStore Home.

I think I'm going to use imap-backup in a cron job.
It's easy to install and use.
Mail Store Home, years ago, in its free version it only allowed 3 email accounts.
In MXRoute I use Rclone sync for the daily copy of emails (also in cPanel accounts from another provider).
