ClouDNS price increase from 1.95USD/m to 3.45USD/m on plan Premium S (2018)

imfanimfan Member

Just check mail box and see a price increase notice from ClouDNS.net,

Which claim that the price of Premium S (2018) will increase from 1.95USD/m to 3.45USD/m (almost 77% increase), and it will came effect on July 1,2024.

And they give a chance that can extend service with currect price before the new price come effect, can do a 2 years pre-paid extend on the panel for now.

Wanna know if anyone have same plan or other plan received the price increase notice? And what's the new price? I have asked one of my friend who use Plan M didn't receive the notice.

And more, if any alternative service provider of DNS service/hosting have support of PTR record, would like to hear some advice from you.

Yeah that's the new Premium S plan which reduced the domain and request volume.

The previous plan which was ordered from 2018 to 2022 should have more resource limit than that, so I guess that's why the increased price is higher than current on-sale plan.

MrNice is an old school member from the german fraud/blackhatszene. he was the owner of ovpn.to (not .com). next to perfect-privacy, ovpn.to was the most used vpn provider for people from various criminal groups in germany. MrNice is the owner of ClouDNS.

That’s interesting, if true. It’s extremely difficult to compete in the DNS a market, given the availability of ‘free’ solutions; I’m curious how the service will fair 5 years down the line.

A service where you don't need to worry if it's down.

  • I'm sure the discounted version will be 1.95.

I am absolutely sure about it. No one from cloudns ever had the nick MrNice or was ever involved with ovpn.to ( or any ovpn domain or company ) . Ownership hasn't changed since the opening of the company. You can look it up info is public - also none of the owners were ever german nationals or even speak german so your statement of them being in the "german fraud/blackhatszene" is even more ridiculous. Whatever logs you have you are free to share with anyone you like - the police , europol , interpol or even the pope. And i have no clue who William is.

  • xx00xxxx00xx Member

"RyanP" is not my account, that would also be too obvious.

you think you are on the safe side because you never mixed the money flows. just for your info. you added mnogobyte to the hoster list when you only had a handful of hosters, shortly after i pointed out this host to MrNice when he was looking for an alternative host for his 100mbit server in .ru. he just didn't book it there because of the abuse handling and the payment method.

but well since you say i'm lying. the mods can delete the thread or my posts. you'll see what you get out of it now. and by encrypted logs i didn't mean logs that still need to be decrypted, but logs that were encrypted by blowfish, but where i had the keys. plus bouncer and xmpp logs, where you also thought you were "safe". just like ovpn was hacked several times back then but only admitted it once or twice.

I work in NOCs for 20+ years now. For cloudns NOC for 10+ years. Mnogobyte was added in January 2017 because back then Hostkey had issues with TTK for 2 straight weeks. It was not recommended by anyone to me it was based purely on searching for a TTK upstreamed host in RU. I even wrote the email myself to mnogobyte on the first order and i even had to do the research without a recommendation from anyone.

For logs - do whatever you like. Share it to any police interpol or whatever you prefer. In fact post them here let everyone read them Im sure they are all bs with 0 proof showing anyone from cloudns being involved. They will show nothing of cloudns involvement with ovpn or any german scene or whatever.
Noone from cloudns had a nick of MrNice , speaks german or is a german citizen. Cloudns was never involved with anything ovpn related.

I don't even get their website, they're selling non-ddos protected DNS?

Or is the DDoS protected DNS a DNS with reverse proxy?

Or is it literally that if I don't pay extra, the DNS hosting many domains isn't protected?

    Dosen't quite scream worth it.

I've always used Cloudflare (Pro/Lifte and Free plan) and switched a few domains to Bunny just because they offer GeoDNS which somehow Cloudflare still requires you to pay a shit ton of $$$ to have. I've added $35 as balance there and still haven't used anything, since they have a very generous free tier. They've been working flawlesly for me.
