Sparked Host LLC is looking to recruit a new Data Center Technician to support our ongoing rollout in Paris, France. We're looking for an individual who has experience working with industry-standard enterprise server equipment who would be available to attend the data center when we are in demand. Sparked Host LLC is actively working on making France our new Euro hub - so recruiting new talent is essential for our growth in this location! You'll be working directly with our CTO and SysOps Team to ensure all tasks are completed to a high standard.
Requirements; -
You'll need to be able to transport to the data center, either by public transport or car.
You'll need to be at least 18 years old due to insurance requirements. You'll be required to sign a non-disclosure agreement and provide identification to the data center on entry to prove your access authorisation.
You'll need to have a excellent array of experience with server equipment (hardware and software) [diagnosing, building and racking].
You'll need to be able to travel to the data center with short notice (generally 2~ days notice).
Desires; -
You'll ideally have some experience working with enterprise networking equipment.
You'll ideally be able to prove a high independence when working with enterprise server equipment.
You'll ideally have some experience working in a data center environment (although not required).
This post is an ad-hoc contractor position, pay based on experience.
Reporting to: Chief Technical Officer / Sys Ops Team
This position requires somewhat urgent fulfillment. Onboarding will be imminent. An interview will take place with either our CEO or CTO.
