Our DDoS Mitigations and Shield Panel
We are in complete control with introducing our new self-owned Corero devices. The protection offered by Corero is inline, meaning we drop traffic without increasing latency, minimising ATM (Attack Mitigation Time).
These devices are in both our Amsterdam and New York locations for lower latency, as expected. Amsterdam is now taking advantage of this, with New York being covered by the end of the month (May).
We decided to integrate Corero's devices due to the increasing frequency, magnitude, and complexity of DDoS attacks on our network. Switching from our previous provider was necessary, and Corero was the perfect choice. Corero's approach to DDoS protection is impressive, providing real-time detection, and line-rate mitigation.
Not only this, customers can utilise the shield panel, which ties into the protection like a knitted glove. We integrate into Corero, allowing you to view detailed analytics for traffic from and to the server. Including advanced filtering options to help with blocking attacks (with more functionality being integrated in the coming months).
Our shield panel also allows you to activate edge rules that block, rate limit or permit based on your needs. This means nothing hits your service that you don't want to.

Yes, that is a valid configuration, however, the price of €93.80 should be the price excluding VAT, our developers are working on resolving this issue, and our billing team can confirm this for you with the invoice pdf showing 0% tax if you're from a country for which VAT wouldn't be applicable

Indeed! We are not using GSL anymore and are now using NTT, Arelion and Liberty Global in our Amsterdam location.
