LET mails marked as spam on Google Apps

Howdy,

All the emails coming from LET are going into my spam folder on my hosted google apps mail. I've now manually setup a gmail filter to be sure they are not marked as spam. Anyone else has this problem?

Yea, I've got the same problem, it must be something in the email that triggers the spam filter, that or LET has a spamhaus (or equivalent) listing (Just checked - lowendtalk.com is not listed in the DBL)

Look at the email headers in gmail. Lots of clues there...

Gmail also adds at the beginning of the message - Why is this message in Spam? It contains content that's typically used in spam messages

If Gmail marks email as spam only thing you can do is create a filter.

Did you alter this line? If not, it's certainly a factor in the "marked as spam" problem.

Nope, all I did was block out my email address, I just double checked the headers again and that line is correct

Then it's something for @Chief to fix... meanwhile marking them as 'not spam' is the only option (as speckl suggested above).

I'm having trouble sending email to the contact@ address, bounces back from googlemail as rejected.

I am able to email my personal googlemail account fine from same server, strange........

I had this same issue.. just created a filter to pop LowEndTalk emails into their own folder

For LET, http://www.intodns.com/lowendtalk.com shows

Oh well, I did not detect any MX records so you probably don't have any and if you know you should have then they may be missing at your nameservers!

I guess that's why they are being marked as spam.
