Looking for a new home for about 100GB website media files

jazziijazzii Member

i am currently hosting my old website media files (about 70GB images, 30GB videos) on wasabi and like to move them to a an (cheaper) alternative (i am just using the 100gb and paying the full price).

it is important to me to keep my "custom" subdomain and that i don't have to rewrite the urls, so unfortunately services like backblaze or contabo s3 are out, because they have the bucket name in the url.

do you guys have a suggestion for a cheapskate? (s3 like, hosting or even vps)

You can use CloudFlare with Backblaze, or any other CDN like Bunny.net

Which let you keep your custom domain.

Bunny.net has affordable storage, like @adilolv suggested you could also put cloudflare in front of them and route your custom domain to the bucket URL. They also have their own in-house CDN product if you need more availability.

  • IDrive e2 would work for you. It's just $4/TB/month and has been working great for me
