Help finding a cheap VPS $1-1.25 as a backup server.
After getting burnt by MaxKVM and setting up all my servers again. I'm looking for an extremely cheap extra VPS or service that I can use to back up all my servers daily. Ideally, I'd like to pay $1 to $1.50 monthly. Does anyone have any recommended hosts that have been up a long time with a super cheap plan in that range? I need about 20GB of storage. Also what do you guys use yourself to back up your stuff? I haven't gotten this far yet but I think I'll make a script for each server to zip everything up and upload it somewhere. Because of that, I was also considering a shared hosting plan and not a VPS as those can normally be pretty cheap.
I currently have my eyes on an Alphavps storage plan it's $16.11/yearly 128GB storage.

zip and upload to s3 storage like backblaze. its cheaper than a VPS.
If LXC and NAT is fine, I can probably offer you a cheap deal.
I'd suggest you'd take that as there aren't going to be a lot of reputable providers offering such a deal.
You might also take a look at https://www.strato.de/server/linux-vserver/mini-vserver/ (1€/m) or https://cloud.ionos.de/server/vps (0,84€/m) https://my.ava.hosting/store/vps/vps-nano (11€/y but very new and unknown host).
If you need about that small , you can just use rclone uniom mount with 3-4 google account drive and it will work fine
Doesn’t need uptime or bandwidth, so stick to free hosting at home
Very low end VPS are only really useful for their ipv4 these days, you can smoke them with a low power box at home

Some of the cheapest plans under $2/month, I can see NetCup and Strato meet your requirements.
If you can do it yearly, there are quite a few options like Racknerd, GreenCloud etc

RackNerd has (no aff)
For $0.96 / month (yearly). See product specs (aff)
Oracle free tier, more reliable than 90% LowEnd providers,
If you can double your average cost (~$1.25), then you can get eight times bigger storage VPS (1 TB) for ~$2.4 here (ref).
Despite the link above being a ref, this is what I'm using myself daily for more than 1.5 years. Zero complaints so far.
Keep in mind that the VPS above would allow you to ditch Big Brother Tech providers like google.drive, onedrive, etc. and to backup not just the VPS(-es), but also your personal files and your phone, which is equally important IMO.
@creation Backblaze B2, 10GB is free
I recommend alphavps, ive been using them for a longtime and never had issues
root@storage:~# uptime

I have Netcup's VPS piko G11s 12M and the vm is super fast and stable. Its 12 euros/year and comes with 1vcpu 1gb ram 30gb ssd and fair use traffic.
HostBrr Mini-EPYC from their anniversary deal would've been perfect fit for your requirements @creation , https://lowendtalk.com/discussion/194296/hostbrr-1-year-celebration-deals-epic-epyc-deals-storage-flash-deals/p1 but unfortunately out of stock.
But, keep an eye on that thread, there are promises there will be more deals, maybe you can catch something...
