@DewlanceVPS
Here is one example of 10gig port speed
And the bandwidth allocation is not as amazing as 500gb per month
Internet download/upload speed of our 10Gbps Windows & Linux VPS:
LET users are capable to make their own decisions instead of relying on competitor-controlled accounts. None of them have shown any Windows VPS with a license and a 10Gbps port for under $7 per month.
Share the YABS along with GB6 score.
If you are short on time, assign me a test linux vps for 24 hours and I will share the YABS
After all 10g port speed is not a big factor if the VPS has crappy computing power
I totally agree with you. Your failure to share YABS speaks volume about your service
@DewlanceVPS
You have not answered this question, so I am asking again
What kind of licensing are you using for Windows VPS?
https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-server/pricing
I agree.
i want my popcorn (also please double my popcorn)
He himself said that, even with 10g data port, none of his customers are using > 300 gb in month
So it comes down to 10gb average daily data usage on 10 gig data port.
Windows Server 2019 and Windows Server 2016 is now available.
Available Operating Systems:
* Windows Server 2022
* Windows Server 2019
* Windows Server 2016
What kind of licensing are you using for Windows VPS?
Asking for the third time
-- 10gb average daily data usage on 10 gig data port. And I am not joking. He himself said that link
Are you a Windows VPS provider?
No, as a perspective customer I want to be sure that Windows VPS licensing is proper.
And YABS will help me in getting to know about VPS computing power.
Licensing is 100% proper.
I did not find any compatible script for running YABS on Windows OS. Most of them are unsupported.
If licensing is proper, I don’t understand the issue behind not sharing the derails.
is the OS for windows is Standard or Data Center?
Please share YABS from Linux based VPS as the configuration is same
Standard Edition.
10Gbps connection is much expensive than 100Mbps or 1Gbps. I already provided Network benchmarks in my response https://lowendtalk.com/discussion/comment/3958469/#Comment_3958469
Speed of 10Gbps(Upload/Download) is near about 7 to 8 times faster than 1Gbps.
@DewlanceVPS
Please share YABS from Linux based VPS as the configuration is same
10 gig data port will not help much if the VPS computing power is crappy and your refusal to share YABS with GB6 score raises more questions about VPS quality
And you have already admitted that none of your customers is using > 300gb bandwidth data in a month
They have no customers....
From @DewlanceVPS TOS page
So basically Windows OS based VPS can be used for browsing pretty much.
Now, it makes sense why none of their customers using > 300 gb bandwidth data in a month.
Leave them alone, it is a hobby project for them and not a serious business I guess.
I have asked for GB6 scores many times, but I won't bother them now.
It was an old term in our agreement with MS. Now we do not have such restrictions. The ToS has been updated.
Do not make assumption by yourself. We do not have any torrent users like you. 500GB per month at 10Gbps bandwidth is enough for normal users, business users. If anybody need 2TB/mo bandwidth at 10Gbps speed then they can upgrade their plan or purchase extra bandwidth. They do not want 100TB bandwidth at $1/mo.
who should be held responsible for not updating the TOS with the time.
So, use the same medicine. do not make assumptions about me.
I run ML algos with big data sets and use high data bandwidth for data reload and refresh
I am a data engineer graduated from IIT Kharagpur. Sharing my background profile so that you don't end up making more assumptions about me.
You won't find any LET plan (> $2/month) with 500GB bandwidth
Not even one.
You are unique in that sense.
You are the one who is making assumptions.
Running Windows Server 2022 on $2.50/month @jordi VPS with bandwidth >> 1 TB

He has already made tons of excuses already for not sharing YABS (with GB6).
For running ML algorithms with large datasets, you need a dedicated server, not a $2/month VPS.
My plans include a Windows license, which costs money. Since you are from IIT Kharagpur, you might not understand that a Windows license is not free. You cannot find a single provider who offers even 1GB of bandwidth at 10Gbps port speed, along with a Windows license, for under $7 per month.

When will you share YABS?
8GB DDR4 ECC RAM
4x AMD Epyc Cores
80GB RAID10 NVMe Storage
5TB Bandwidth @ 1Gbps Port
1x IPv4 Address
IPv6 /64 Block
Windows License included
$6 /month
$7/month -- 500 GB monthly bandwidth (10 gig port) from provider who won't share YABS
vs
$6/month -- 5 TB monthly bandwidth (1 gig data port) with double RAM and double storage and 4 vCores (YABS attached for your reference)
Personally I would go for $6/plan
That $2 VPS I got as a giveaway and shared just to show even $2 VPS is powerful enough to run SSMS client on Windows Server OS.
I have a $10 VPS (with Ryzen 7950x cpu cores) that I use for running large datasets. GB6 score for that VPS is a juggernaut number
Look at your reply. You keep posting the same Windows offer with a 1Gbps port. You cannot differentiate between a 1Gbps port and a 10Gbps port.
The cost of a 1Gbps port is much cheaper compared to a 10Gbps port. The cost of hardware, wiring, etc., for a 10Gbps connection is more expensive than for 1Gbps.
Try to purchase a broadband connection with 10Gbps in your city just for 1 year.
You can go with a slow 1Gbps port. It's your personal choice.
10 gig port won't do any good with crappy VPS with just 1 vCore.
Share the YABS and prove me wrong.
You need a dedicated server with a GPU for processing large datasets in ML. Your technical knowledge about Windows VPS is lacking. Windows VPS with 1 vCore is good enough for normal users and business users.
Your technical knowledge is weak. Windows VPS does not support Linux YABS. Please do not derail my offer thread.
@DewlanceVPS
Here is YABS for my VPS that I captured before installing Windows OS.
It has 10 gig data port
Two Ryzen 7950x vCores
4 GB memory
