Europe VPS needed with low latency to India

anaghaanagha Member
edited April 26 in Requests

Hello, I need a vps from west europe. Its okay if the vps is from other countries too but it should have good ping to India. Maybe less then 120 to 130ms!

RAM and CPU - 1 to 2GB RAM, 1vCPU
Bandwidth - 250 to 500GB is fine.
I will be testing out many things so I will constantly re-install OS atleast 2 to 3 times a week so there should be no limit on number of re-installs!
Storage - 20 to 30GB NVME should be fine but I should be able to upgrade in future if needed!
Controlpanel - no solusvm panel, its not my liking!
rDNS should be present for both ipv4 and ipv6
Budget - 5USD a month, cannot commit yearly!

Okay let members can you please recommend me some providers whom you think are reliable!

Do you have any test IP for reference?
(or maybe can you let us know your lowest latency test IP from: https://looking.house/points.php?country=7)

120-130ms from EU is very hard beyond Mumbai in India.

You can check @v3ng and @Hosmatic they have direct peering with Airtel at DE-CIX Frankfurt.

    Thanked by 2Hosmatic v3ng

If Sydney, Australia is ok (125ms from your test IP) then please check out the latest deal in my signature. Fits all your requirements.

Thank you for your recommendations! I’ll definitely look into these options. I checked ping statistics from wondernetwork.com for some rough Idea. I found france has very low ping to India, followed by germany and london with sub 135ms ping! Do you know any providers from these locations!

To the test IP, the lowest latency to EU is @aveline @ https://www.misaka.io with 131ms (France, Marseille). This is not a direct recommendation of Misaka, I've not used them personally, altough I've never heard of any drama of them.

Thank you for the suggestion but they are sadly out of my budget, I will update the thread with my budget too.
    I am looking for 5USD a month!

155ms latency to the test IP provided by OP. If that's good enough we can offer everything requested.

Hmm, you can check Racknerd France. Their cheapest offer starts at ~$17/year.
I'm in South India, so that's another 30-40ms from Mumbai, and I usually get between 158-170ms to their France location.

Hosmatic is also pretty good, it's around 155ms for me.
server-factory fluctuates between 160-190ms, depending on if it's coming via TATA or Airtel.
    Naranjatech is also around 160ms.

If I remember some other providers with low latency, I'll post here. You should be getting better numbers than what I posted if you are closer to Mumbai.

BuyVM is within your budget, and has 150ms to the test IP if that's fine for you.
Meets all your requirements for $3.50 USD / month in their Luxembourg 🇱🇺 location

    • Plan: LU RYZEN KVM 1GB
    • CPU: 1 core (AMD Ryzen 3900X or better)
    • RAM: 1GB DDR4
    • Storage: 20GB NVMe
    • Network: Unmetered bandwidth @ 1Gbps
    • 1 IPv4 and /48 IPv6 included. rDNS records available for both

For: $3.50 USD / month. Currently out of stock though.

They're using their own control panel ("Stallion") and it's quite user friendly.

    Check https://lowendtalk.com/discussion/194284/summer-special-amd-epyc-in-india-15-yr-special-miami-dallas-vps-deals-giveway-inside/p1

IPV6 is not available atm; however, other than that, you will get all that you need.

By the way, IMHO the threads would look cleaner and more useful without expired / out of stock links. I think people would appreciate that. And also please avoid always dropping some crap comment under mine, you're doing this all the time, it's not pleasant to the eyes of anyone.

    Cheers :)

BuyVM is highly requested and they're constantly restocking. OP didn't specifically request highly urgent or anything like that, and I specifically mentioned it's out of stock at the writing of the post. So waiting for a restock (which will likely be in a couple of days as we're at the end of the month) shouldn't be a huge deal.
No one would recommend BuyVM if it had to be in stock at the time of writing, it's quite hard to time it correctly.

This is a public forum, you're also not helping anyone if you're not bothering to read OP requirements, wasting his time.
Not to mention that 99% of your useless affman posts are wrong in something (may be in the bandwidth, pricing, or whatever)

Also, do you have a service in HostBrr Frankfurt location, and have you tested the latency to the test IP OP sent? I don't see it in your post.

Alright, I had a look at all my VMs.

    • HostBRR Frankfurt is around 185ms.
    • BuyVM LU is around 170ms
    • IncogNET NL is around 160ms (but this is out of your budget)
    • Aeza Sweden is 160ms (WOW, did not expect that)
    • FreeVPS.org NL (Hivelocity) - 162ms. No VPS there, unfortunately.
    • FreeVPS.org UK (Scaleblade) - 160ms. I think they have VPS in your budget.
    • Vultr DE - 170ms
    • Host C - 200ms. If your ISP is Jio, you should be getting close to 140ms.

As I said before, depending on where you are, these values will be better for you.

Lowest on seems to be UK, Speedypage with 143ms for EU.

Might be also worthwhile looking into local VPS providers in Chennai.
To get overall better pings to Europe for example or Australia.

Its marginal, 5-10ms however every ms counts so.

Local providers are way out of my budget and bandwidth offered by them is also too less. Do you know about digirdp their Indian plans are too good to believe!
