Request: Cheapest VPS with 1TB HDD
Hello,
I have moving my backup's to OneDrive (Encrypted Rclone), so won't be needing as big of a VPS anymore. I am looking for a VPS with 1TB storage (ideally 512MB+ RAM, 1 Vcore and 2.5TB+ bandwidth @ 100Mbit/s) for as cheap as possible to use as backend for a file server.
The VPS does not require its own dedicated IPV4 address. Nat IPV4 for some ports or IPV6 is fine as the files will be served though a NGINX caching reverse proxy.
I am prepared to pay yearly for the VPS if that allows for a cheaper price.
Thank You

Would suggest the HostBrr plan, cheaper when paid yearly.
+1 for @labze HostBrr
Highly recommended
if you need more space 5TB
@host_c has the unbeatable price
ServaRica has (no aff)
For $2.42 / month (yearly). See product specs (aff)
Can recommend @layer7, although for 1TB they might not be the cheapest.

"crappy" HDD ≠ SDD
Wooo that's expensive.
Hetzner Storage Box then mount it to VPS
Hi,
if its just about backups, maybe this is interesting for you:
https://layer7.net/proxmox-backup
There is also a linux cli client, so if you are familar with rclone/borg, then this is very similar.
2.98 EUR incl. 19% Vat per per TB with IPv4/IPv6. Compression/Deduplication enabled and 10G port while the traffic is included...
pricing per month...
or 24.04 EUR / year without Vat...
or, if IPv6 only is enough then i could give you:
https://login.layer7.net/index.php?rp=/store/dusseldorf-germany/mid-cpu-cloud-servers-1core-2gb-20gb-dus1
with 1 TB additional disk for 19,90 EUR / year without vat.
Both product are upgradeable ( in case 1 TB wont be enough at some point in the future )
Serverlocations: Germany
I've got one of these. Really not too bad. They also have unlimited at 100mbs which is what I use.
Thank you everyone
Still looking. There is no need for any sort of raid, so premium offer are unnecessary. I will keep out on this thread.
