Recomandation:
I recommend you use the built-in Backup slot for your services, 1 slot is free on all services, more can be bought at check-out or via opening a ticket, for the moment on storage servers backup is done only on boot drive, we are working on a generous backup server that can handle the storage services also.
QEMU-GUEST-AGENT needs to be installed on the VPS for backup to work.

Please set up 2FA after you create the account.
https://www.host-c.com/knowledgebase/17/Set-up-2FA-Authentication.html

MAIL, DNS Server and Porn is banned, so do not order if that is what you wish to host.
https://www.host-c.com/knowledgebase/2/Terms-and-Services

For adding the additional Drive we recommend reading this, it will make your life much easier:
https://www.host-c.com/knowledgebase/1/VPS-Storage-add-on-secondary-drive.html

On signup, please use an e-mail address other than Microsoft hosted, we have delivery problems to MSFT hosted mail for the moment.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask.

Happy shopping!

    Ordering right now!
I'd been wanting to try it for a long time.

But I already have enough storage.
That said, I'll be able to upgrade my storage server to raid 1 instead of raid 6 by moving some files here!
    So not useless afterall

No minimum bandwidth guaranteed I guess?

Edit: At the moment I can't order. Website overloaded?

Minimum BW should be above 300MBPS, we never had lower speeds. But that depends on in between IPS also. Use LG to test connectivity, MTR, PING...

    Real storage costs $2/month•TB.
    This one costs $0.75/month•TB.

Storage provider typically banks on customers using only 10% of their purchased capacity.
When everyone fill up their 5TB, you get the dreaded ENOSPC error, or worse, a corruption.

    @yoursunny

I can tell you that our customers go as high as 80% on the storage bought after the first 1 month.

this is why we do not do 1 Storage server with XXXTB on it, we use 12 bay ones and when they are filled up, we provision another server.

I recommend you, since we kinda berried the hatchet, to do some detective work before wring shit, not all providers do as you say. not everybody does things the same way, that is why we have diversity on this forum.

    EDIT:

@yoursunny , if you keep this up with us, it will go sideways. Why not do something constructive once in a while?

I have a current service with similar plan (2 TB instead of 5TB)

Can I move to this plan?
    Thanks!

do you guys support rDNS records (for "cosmetic" reasons, I know I can't host mail servers nor I want to do so)

we did not get a rDNS module yet, as we have other issues with ModulesGarden and I really do not want to get locked on 1 software provider, until I am confident on their product.

If you need a rDNS record, open a tiket, and I or some other Minion of mine will help you out.
