EU/CH ZFS Storage VPS
I'm looking for an EU or Switzerland storage VPS to use as a ZFS send backup, i.e. Hetzner Storage Box not an option, zfs.rent is not in the EU, and rsync.net is too pricey.
Storage: 4TB+, preferably plus 10-20Gb NVMe
CPU: 1 vCore EPYC or Xeon
RAM: 2GB+
1Gbit/s, 4TB+/mth, IPv6
Budget: 75-100 EUR/yr
Looking for reliable, long-term solution, so annual payment discount preferable. Advice on reliable providers appreciated!
Thank you!!

@labze
HostBrr has (no aff)
For €9.17 / month (yearly). See product specs (aff)
Options are ZFS on FUSE, kernel module, or upload FreeBSD ISO.
Hi,
should be quiet fitting:
https://layer7.net/storage-server
but also with all the other cloud servers you can have a 2nd disk with a higher space:

Dunno if it works for ya, but perhaps PulsedMedia's Storage boxes are a good fit.

Thanks very much @davide, Hostbrr was already top of my list, but I'll take a look at @layer7.
Hi, if I understand this offering each comes with 50GB NVMe drive + whatever we configure as 2nd disk ?
Hi,
yes, while the difference between the storage servers and the cloud servers is, that cloud servers can have one additional disk and the storage servers can have up to 3 additional disks.
Also for the cloud servers, you will have more than this 50 GB NVMe for the 1st disk ( os )
Are the hostbrr storage VPS faster then Hetzners storageboxes?
Hetzner dedicated server is limited to 1gbit, so if you share the line it will be slower, I make use of Hetzner storage box and always max out 1gbit line.
