Some information about us can be found here. A good TL;DR is that we're new. Our building is small, but owned by us. It actually used to be a woodworking shop, and let me tell you about the amount of cleaning. We all start from somewhere and this is where I wanted to start. We're a registered business in Illinois and operate our own ASN, which is 11117. We're not premium; if you need top-of-the line it's probably best you don't order from us. Additionally I may have made mistakes in some places, all I ask is you allow me a day to fix it.

    • Yes, these promotions are for the lifetime of the service.

    • Yes, we do have a looking glass. You can access it here.

  3. Are mail ports banned?

    • Yes, mail ports are banned as per our Terms of Service (TOS). You can review our TOS here.

  4. Do you offer a Service Level Agreement (SLA)?

    • No, we don't currently have a SLA in place. However, our external monitoring solution has consistently reported a 99.9% or better uptime since its implementation. While our target is to maintain a 99.5% uptime or better, it's important to note that this level of uptime isn't guaranteed under an SLA.

  5. Do you have DDoS protection?

    • No, we currently do not have DDoS protection in place. However, we have implemented an automatic IP null route system to protect our network. Additionally, we are in talks with a provider for DDoS protection and will provide more details in the future.

  6. Is there automatic provision for your services?

    • Yes, all our services, including dedicated servers, are automatically provisioned. We utilize an in-house built TenantOS module for this purpose. However, please note that if you customize your dedicated server and the configuration is not found, we may need to change the parts in the server, which can take a business day.

  7. What datacenter are you in?

    • Our building is situated in Highland, Illinois, just a short 35-minute drive east of St. Louis. While it may not offer the most amazing features, we're proud to own and operate it. From this location, we deliver affordable services you can count on, and if you're still unsure about trying our services, remember, we offer a 7-day money-back guarantee for all our offerings, including bare metal.

    Sure! Sorry for the wait. I made a typo updating the interface file and this is the one of the very few servers without BMC. It should be done! I had to drive in for that.

    It's been awhile and thank you for all the support! I've decided to slash our prices since I priced it a bit high, especially for the level of service we're offering. We're also adding Paypal to our billing methods. ( We've had our price cut pretty much right away but I wanted to avoid bumping the post. No one was charged the old price, even if they were we'd refund the difference. )

    How do I enable wireguard TUN/TAP on the VPS? I can install and run wireguard, but it's extremely slow and flaky.

    Network speed on the VPS is pretty good. However, wireguard on the client side is consistently very slow, and often dropped connections or failed DNS resolutions are occuring...

    >lsmod | grep tun
ip6_udp_tunnel         16384  1 wireguard
udp_tunnel             20480  1 wireguard

>modprobe tun

>cat /dev/net/tun
cat: /dev/net/tun: File descriptor in bad state

    it seem TUN is enabled on the VPS by default. however wireguard performance and reliability has been abysmal. what am I doing wrong?

    running Ubuntu 22.04. ufw is disabled.

    PS: you need to disable the DEBUG mode in your laravel app config or .env. Some of your controllers are not validating input propertly. I'd encountered a few problems with the shopping cart yesterday, can't recall the details now....

    Can you try setting the MTU to 1380 in your wireguard config? You should be able to go to 1396 or 1392 however

    wg performance is better now. there are still some issues, but it's workable...

    Here are the changes I made to wg0.conf:

    [Interface]
...
MTU = 1384

[Peer]
...
PersistentKeepalive = 5

    Before:

    $ ifconfig wg0
wg0: flags=209<UP,POINTOPOINT,RUNNING,NOARP>  mtu 1420
...

    Restart wg:
    $ systemctl restart wg-quick@wg0

    After:

    $ ifconfig wg0
wg0: flags=209<UP,POINTOPOINT,RUNNING,NOARP>  mtu 1384
...

    I'm still getting some slowness as well as dropped connections, but no showstoppers yet.
