Is spectraip support dead ?

I have dedicated server invoice to paid in 8 march i paid it in 6 march and until today they didn't accept the transaction ( they must accept it manually because their system doesn't mark the invoice as paid automatically )

Usually this takes some hours to be marked as paid and its been a week now and nothing happened.

I also opened a ticket about it for 3 days and no one is answering.

Now I'm getting the Invoice overdue notices from them and the server might be suspended anytime.

Anyone has an ideas what's going on with them ?

We can try to call @spectraip , but he was last active on November 5th, which isn't a promising sign

Your support response time has been doubled.

  • If you would have kept an eye at what has been happening with their peering partners in crime recently, you could have seen this coming

  • Give them a call.

They might get a bit passive-agressive, but at least you’ll have their attention.

    huh?

  • There is no spectraip. There is only "the group". Uplinks and IP's shifting. Guess you didn't meet them back in the Colinks/Linkup/Iqarus days.

  • Also, IPvolume INC, a reinier and bap company does not exist anymore.
Recently they even removed their address data from their IP's

Doing my research, I just found the following, very interesting, information.

So my question is why are they still able to have an active ASN and IP addresses? ... Was clear that all uplinks were moved to Spectra and Fiberxpress and something was changing.

"Notice is hereby given in accordance to section 272(2)(b) of the International Business
Companies Act, 2016 (the Act), that IP Volume Inc - No. 203857 will be struck off the
register at the expiration of 60 days from the date of this publication, pursuant to section
    272(1)(a)(iii) of the Act."
    (https://www.gazette.sc/sites/default/files/2022-02/Gazette No 7 - 7th February 2022.pdf)

Section 276(1) of the Act was amended to extend the Registrar’s power to restore a
company struck off the Register to all struck off companies except for those struck
off under section 272(1)(a)(iii) or (iv) of the Act, being companies struck off for
involvement in fraud or for jeopardizing the reputation of Seychelles as a financial
centre. These wider restoration powers of the Registrar avoid the extra time and
cost of an application to the Supreme Court of Seychelles for a restoration order.

    Also:
276 – Restoration of a company in the Register by the Registrar
According to the Act, companies that are struck-off due to non-compliance with the act may be restored by the Registry except in the case of contraventions of Section 272(1) (a) (ii) & (iii).

Perhaps this is also the reason for the seemingly related "IP Connect Inc." and "IP Fiber Inc.", they are not listed in those documents you linked.

They "the owners" started as Colinks, Linkup, became Iqarus. Now Novogara, IPvolume, Dataone, Rebacom.
There is 1 company between Iqarus and Novogara which I don't remember but you get the picture.

Meaning that the transit were first active under the Novogara ASN, then switched to the IPVolume one, then to the rebacom one and now spectraip

  • "IP Connect Inc." and "IP Fiber Inc."
have likely not much to do with Reinier and Bap

They might have gotten their inspiration there.

And note that someone faked a "IP volume" in Switzerland before
