This "International woman day" mostly is a big fuss in CIS. By the rule, woman should congratulate other woman with that day. Not man -> woman. But as always, man will not pass a chance to have a good night for few flowers

This is a public holiday in the Soviet Union and Russia, and by tradition, in most countries of the former Soviet Union, with the exception of the Baltic states, as far as I know.
I don't know how this is done in other countries, but in the Soviet Union and Russia now, it has always been a day for gifts from a man to a woman. Gifts usually include flowers, cosmetics, bags, books, and albums.

In traditional societies, unlike so-called "liberal" societies, women have always been seen as the personification of wisdom, restraint and pragmatism. I hope that their number will continue to increase on LET. 0.2% is too law number.

Only because I am from Russia, and maybe because I haven't found a list of countries where March 8 is an official state holiday, which explains why we talk less about other countries.
Sorry, unfortunately, this is still a very low price for us because of high expenses.
