VPS Providers with Directadmin included

Greetings,

Looking at comparing providers that have Directadmin included.

To get things started I am aware of
1. https://www.littlecreekhosting.com
2. https://buyvm.net/
3. https://inceptionhosting.com

OpenVZ or similar is not acceptable. KVM or similar only.

Any others to add to this list would be great. If they offer dedicated might be intrested in that too if the price is right.

    DA no longer offers “free” licenses, so providers also does not have them.

    not worth it.

    DA suspended new internal licenses, these old ones will go EOL anytime.

    I dont know what liscense I had before, I can tell you I was able to create as many accounts on it as I wanted and could reinstall it when i rebuilt the OS.

    1. Do you have a link that explains this better?
    2. Internal compared to what liscense?
    3. If it is going to EOL when is this?
    4. How much do they intend to charge compared to cpanel? If its similar I would just go back to cpanel.

    4. Still cheaper than cPanel.

    Unlimited license costs 29$ p/m.

    I thought Directadmin sold lifetime liscenses up until a few years ago but stopped when CPanel introduced the first price increase.

    So I thought that some providers would have bought a couple lifetime liscenses everytime there was a sale and offered them to their customers.

    A DC (presumably data center) liscense was one that allowed infinite or a set number of DA installs provided it was on your network? If so how much did it cost?
    Also was the DC liscense seperate to a one off lifetime liscense that anyone could buy and use anywhere?

    Is this directadmin trying to make people that already have these DC liscenses pay more?

    i am sorry, i have no idea what the other providers are offering.

    If you tell me what specs / requirements you are searching ( and what you paid ) then other providers might be able to offer something.

    ahh ok, sorry.

    I can confirm we have licenses. Did not use them for 10 years? I have no idea if they will work or not.

    Thats why i already offered in another thread a free testing.

    So you can just order a VPS, open a ticket and let us know its about DA testing and we will activate the server for free and deliver the DA activation code.

    This way you can test for free. If it works, great. If not, at least you did not loose money testing it for us :p

    What are you using it for?

    I was wanting cPanel or direct admin for my server but then I thought f it and just got a reseller package from namecrane for any customers to be safe and then I have a cPanel shared license on my VPs backed up to a host re solution for myself (both connected to whmcs @ namecrane)

    Hoping I can quietly reassign customers to my personal servers if they become too much for namecrane :#

    I’ve opened a pre-sales ticket as there aren’t really any applicable plans (most are over spec for my needs). 🙂

    unfortunately there is some minimum money we need to take to provide service to give is economical sense.
    We do not provide this ultra low cost stuff ( < 25 EUR / year ). So we need a minimum of 30-40 EUR / year. But for this we give as many resources as possible which is usually quiet a lot, even compared to others.

    So if this 30-40 EUR / year are over budget, unfortunately we can not offer here something. Sorry...

    @layer7 ypu should probably make sure you can still update the IP on your lifetime licenses before hand.

    There was some chatter about either a renumbering limit (x per month or year) or possibly not allowing renumbering at all.

    i would say none of them. It seems to be some special deal that was made with a company i took over from a former customer.

    Yes, i fully agree.

    Thats why i am currently giving some free test accounts to customers. Lets see if this will work.

    I tested it with @layer7 , their lisence worked. I got High CPU 2Cores-8GB-80GB PAR1 plan which is very good specs/price ratio. It cost 4.12 euros/m including ipv4 and ipv6, no setup fee needed. Server feels very fast installation went without problems. Here is yabs

    For the specs offered, 30/40€ per year is very reasonable. Hopefully we can work something out for this. 🙂

    sure, simply contact us in telegram or here via DM or email, message in a bottle, how ever :-)

    So far it seems like the DA licenses from us are working. We will include them for free in plan's that have a minimum volume of 5,- EUR / month. In others +1 EUR / month for the license i think, lets see.

    We will be reworking the offer structure in general, so its nothing fixed yet.
