Hi LET,

I'm in the market for a new storage server.

Requirements:
CPU: 4c minimum
Storage: 80-100TB
Network: 1gbps, 100TB+ or unmetered
Location: US West Coast or Europe
Deployment: <72 hours
(Dedicated server, no VPS please)

First two weeks or so will be spent migrating data, so I will use most of the 1gbps during that period, that must not be an issue. After that, traffic use should be minimal.

Based on some preliminary searching, the best deals I have seen so far are in the ~$1.6/TB range approx. Mostly from the usual suspects e.g. Hetzner/LW resellers.

Happy to see some offers, or simply suggestions on which providers to look at.

    I think a dedi is the best fit here just based off the overall storage size.

    Requirements:

    • CPU: (2) E5-2630L v4
    • SSDs: (2) 160GB SSDs (boot/misc)
    • HDDs: (12) 8TB HDDs
    • Network: 100TB @ 1Gbps (One-time grace overage for initial migration of data no problem)
    • Location: US West (Washington State)
    • Deployment: <72 Hours (Thursday 2/29)
    • Monthly Cost: $150/m + $0 setup

    I am very interested in this server. Can it be upgraded to a larger disk? How many IPs are provided?

    We currently only provide 8 disk storage servers

    8x16 TB
    8x18 TB
    8x20 TB

    are the options, if you need even more storage, we can setup something special or you take multiple of those servers.

    We dont want to disclose more details here yet, because we are currently still in build up process, but we going to beat market prices, for €/TB.

    1gbit unmetered (no shady traffic allowed). location netherlands.

    The offer will be limited to a couple of machines, if you want to reserve yours, drop me a pm for further details.. Currently it takes a couple of business days for delivery
