I am new here and love the forum. I have this predicament... since I am from EU, the laws here are changing into authoritarian direction quickly. Hate speech nonsense is in almost every country and under that umbrella, the corrupt officials can throw almost anything they like. Everything smells like a weird blend of communism, fascism and technocracy. After years of development, I am finally releasing my game this year, which is mocking communism and some other isms heavily. The game does not include any racism, incitement to violence, no sexual content and it does not touch any important a**holes in the last 50 years, except the rocket man and his bellowed daddy.
I need a stable, freedom of speech protecting registrar and possible a good hosting site with unlimited traffic (game size is around 5gb packed). Please suggest only those companies that are reliable. If I were to host in EU, the only safe bet would be Netherlands, but to be honest I have not checked due to my busy schedule what is going on with banning domains in the last 3 years. So imagine my shock about EPIK debacle. Quite sad.

The problem is that Russia is still attached to commie signs, flags, banners, etc. I am not sure how people are reacting and how sensitive are to this. For example hammer and sickle.

maybe i am wrong, but freedom of speech is a very high value in europe ( at least germany ).
As long as you dont violate copy-right content or doing something racism / child-porn or similar, any country in europe will be good enough.
Its true that they are introducing all kind of rules, but actually not to limit free speech but to limit hate and especially lie in political context, and even that will maybe or not come, lets see what will come for real in the very end...
Netherlands have when it comes to this, no other rules than any other country -- AKAIK...
Anyway, if you want to be save the more eastern you go, the better it is, as long as your content is in any meaning not against the ruling regime.

well if you interpret free speech this way, then i guess there is no country existing on this world that gives you this.
Every country has its nogo's. The question is what you want to say/do. So just search the right country for that.
But anyway, offtopic so i wont continue this here, and even worst political one. Depending on what country you come from and depending on what filtered bubble you move in, you will easily be offended ( or not ). Its very very hard to receive real full and honest information without filter ( based on your conditioning with past information you got ) and without interpretations of the senders who give the information. And if its ok to say anything anytime anywhere, everyone must decide for him/herself. And if this should be limited by law's is yet another question. Most people also wont fart everywhere anytime they want. There the conditioning of the society is (still) working. And in other fields this conditioning is not working anymore.
