Auction Rules
As per the forum rules for Auctions, you need to have been registered for at least 30 days, and have at least 25 non-spammy posts to bid.
No sniping. This will be enforced by extending the auction end time to an additional 10 minutes should there be any bids submitted for a particular domain name within the last 5 minutes of the scheduled auction end time. If another bid is submitted within the 10 minutes of the extended time, the auction for the domain name(s) will be extended further for another 10 minutes from the time the last bid was placed. The process will continue for the relevant domain name(s) until no further bids are submitted for a 10 minutes period and the highest bidder for the domain name(s) will win the auction.
If no new bids are submitted within the last 5 minutes of the auction end time, the auction for the domain name will end as scheduled, with the highest bidder as the winner.
During the auction period, should someone claim "BIN" (Buy It Now) for a particular domain name, it will outbid any existing bids that has already been placed (if any) thus ending the auction for the dedicated server instantly. To claim "BIN", the bidder/participant must purchase and pay for the server using the link provided within 30 minutes of the order.
If, by chance, a bid is submitted at the exact same time the auction ends, please note that it will not be accepted.
Winning bidders are under an obligation to complete the transaction and there will be no refunds in the event of a "change of mind".

You could change "domain name" for "server" in the template
Looks like I missed a couple.
how old are the drives?

No idea. All servers go through burn in testing before getting added to the rapid deploy queue. Any hardware showing poor performance or smart errors is replaced.
Good thing is if your worried about the drives. Can always add "FTP Backup Space" and keep a backup of your data close by.

This server has 2x2TB drives. You're proposing buying $120/month worth of backup space? I get you two are buddies and pat each other's servers but come on.
anyway, I've gotten servers with 5% SSD life left and it wasn't even worth the black friday price since the only data I would trust on that server is porn.
Should have requested a drive swap. Anytime we've had a new server with a disk showing limited life remaining they've replaced it without any quibbles.
That approach works for drives that show that specific SMART attribute. A lot of old SSDs don't have them. They just show age. 55000 hours. Pretty much most of the 256GB/512GB SSDs are like this. Good luck convincing someone to get that drive replaced.

I was just saying that they have an option for other storage if needed.
Just depends on how valuable your data is to you.
I've seen new SSDs fail while others that been around for quite a while last for years.
Side note.
This auction thing might be a neat idea!!!
SinSiXX is leading with $60 and has surpassed previous bidders @nszerver @jhruan @jackalblood @jokesonyou @LuckyJinx @jhruan @ManishPant @Foul
