my experience with their Moldavian VPS wasn't great, they suffered from ddos attacks for a few days in october and their support claimed that everything was fine when their main website didn't even load.

and their website still says 99.9% of uptime
they advertised 100mbit/s but i never got a speedtest higher than 77mbit/s, and bufferbloat was 200ms+. I also remember their network had ping spikes in the evening, but i lost my smokeping so im not sure.

hm, the network is weird again: upload speed is low and there is bufferbloat (+450ms).
I made the same speedtests from VPS of their Moldavian competitor (i don't think their service is good overall but their network is good)
the speed is almost full and there is very little bufferbloat (only +7ms).
Only they can fix the speed, but if bufferbloat bothers you, then you can try sqm-scripts (it didn't really work in their Moldavian location but it may work in the new location)

They’re definitely a provider for smaller budgets. I don’t see too many larger companies etc using them, they’re almost always in the Stockholm region (based on my own experience only.)
I wasn’t happy with their web hosting, but it wasn’t because of a bad network, my experience was that their servers were so slow to the point where doing anything in wp-admin that relies on querying database was slow
But that dosen’t say anything about their network, so AlexHost isn’t affected by that, but it does speak to them being a budget friendly provider. Another sign of this is that (from what I recall), they only use Cogent and HE as upstreams
Their support is amazing though, and I love them for domains. They’re a serious company as well and they’re ICANN certified.
@alexhost have you been to their facilities or have you just shipped the servers? I’ve always wondered if the cabin(s) on Google Maps is their DC or if there’s something else not as visible.

@Stradale thanks, the result is not the best, but it's still much better than AlexHost vps. sqm-scripts may fix bufferbloat, but if you don't utilize your network to 100% then don't worry about it
