naranja Windows vps go offline automatically !
I have many VPS from naranja
I Try installing Windows with all of them
The problem I face is that the server go offline automatically after a few days of work, and I need to go to the control panel and start it again. This is very annoying.
Specifications of the last server on which the experiment was performed
4 vCPU
8GB RAM
80GB SSD
When I contacted support, this was the response
"Searching on the internet it seems there are a lot of people encountering this issue.. As it's not a VM related issue I don't think we can help you."
Has anyone encountered this problem before and how can it be solved?
I have servers from other companies that run on Windows, some of which have been online continuously for up to two years, especially Hetzner.
Comments
Di you activate them ?
If you are using windows server, if you havent given it a license key it will just shut down after a hour
Exactly
No, it is not activated.
But the rest of the other My Windows servers are also not activated . I did not encounter this problem
It's shut down automatically because it's not activated.
Nananja VPS
share the windows screenshots from Hetzner that it is not activated and running for x number of days.
Windows Server OS Evaluation version works for 180 days that can be extended four times
Windows Server OS un-activated version auto shuts down at random times from 30 minutes to two hours
This picture is of a Windows server on a hetzner (uptime 65 days) not activated. (I have been using it for 3 years and it has never turned off on its own. Sometimes I restart it )
This picture is of a MY New BF Windows server on a webhorizon (uptime 44 days) not activated.
You have PM do this first then try again.
Thank you. I will try your solution
I would check with Microsoft support.
Ask for Bill Gates, hes great support guy.
NP, let us know if it worked !
Now that the VPS is working, we will wait a few days and see. Thank you for following up and advising me
yeah it's my same problem
when I run my vps in Windows, it rest automatically
just massgrave it, use digital lic option
Yeah thats what i told them wasnt sure if i can post that here.
I send you PM with instructions
Can you share here?
Send you pm

Surely activation state of Windows is not the issue.
I have this instance (still unactivated) running for 38 days
Because it's evaluation if you have normal without key it will shut down depends on the iso Wich one was used
No send pm
Isn't it the case that the provider should offer Windows ISOs (by default) that are installed with evaluation key?!
I don't know everybody can make his own disicion in this it's a free world
Have you checked the power setting on windows?
