Routing seems really bad, from Airtel Fiber Bangalore, MTR shows BLR->BOM->BLR, and 25ms, which is crazy for being in the same city.

  • HostzopHostzop Member, Patron Provider

Ok please share the trace route with me in message, we will check it.

Please also check latency from our Mumbai DC to your location: 103.191.133.3

  • I don't understand, internet services in India are very expensive? There is only 100G traffic. I am very interested in network services in India, but I can't find a cheap provider.

    Verification Document

We ask for a government-approved document for verification. For our Indian clients, this means an Aadhar card is needed, and international clients can use their passport. Additionally, you'll need to provide a selfie, which will be taken securely by our trusted verification partner, withpersona.com.

KYC verification is mandatory in India for any datacenter or Hosting provider. We use third party app withpersona for KYC verification.

  • What a joke 🤣🤣 . Don't know who ever buys a hosting from these selfie companies. Few years back a incident happened with one of my friend he bought a server from these selfie companies in india and police knocked at his door few months later. officials here have very less knowledge of cyber things and will always blame you if anything happens without listening to you. As per my friend he only sold few cpanel hostings to business in his locality which were normal tranditional business and can never do any cyber things. It was the hosting company fault who do not have any proper security or firewalls and their end and when things happened they handed all the adhaar and id proof to the officials and police knocked at my friend's door. So better use aws, vultr use their 1 year free trial with just one otp verification . Do not fall in these adhar selfie scams

What is "adhar"? So, they scam you of document and than do illegal things with it? Could you please provide real example for that? News article etc.

Adhar is a national identity card which is unique for every individual and your fingerprints and iris scans are linked to it. The company was not very big the guy was just a very small host running reseller hosting from home so no news article. But what these companies do is they immediately share these individual details with officials if any incident happens. In india things are changing now but we still have officials who are old school. if anything incident happens related to IT they first blame you directly and think you are some kind of hacker as shown in movies without listening to you. So better no share your very crucial documents with just random companies

Its marketed as a technological advancement and a miraculous tool of convenience to India's uneducated and poverty driven gullible masses and sycophants of the establishment in country's middle & upper class population.

But in really Aadhaar is a multi-pronged surveillance tool devised by the state to keep its population completely subservient in the longer run. Everything from your coming out of your mother's womb and your funeral and all things in between is to be recorded on and controlled via your Aadhaar UID. This includes your school & college admissions, your hospital visits and admissions, insurance policies you take, your bank accounts, your cellphone numbers, your driver license, traffic violations, the compulsory RFID sticker they put on your vehicles to track your travel through country's highways, air travels, your marriage, all your financial dealings, properties you own, all your shoppings, UPI payments which Indians use at every nook and corner of the country, to buy a cigarette or to pay their vegetable vendor. This is just to list a few. Its basically everything that you can think of is or will be connected & controlled with your Aadhaar UID which is a unique identification number with your bio-metric data attached to it (fingerprints & retina scans).

You have problem with Aadhar, India or small hosting providers? You just gave a company reference which is using Webwerks datacenter. Webwerks also do KYC.
In India KYC is in practice from more then 7 years, all clients do kyc without any issue and feel safe because they follow rules. Your Friend was selling web hosting but he was'nt doing KYC.

This is not the first time data was breached. Earlier in June 2023, the Indian government had launched an investigation into a data breach after personal data of vaccinated citizens, including VVIPs, from the CoWin website was allegedly leaked via a Telegram messenger channel.

    Read this as well --

Laws require VPN operators (and Hosting providers) to collect and maintain customer information including names, email addresses, and IP addresses for at least five years, even after they have canceled their subscription or account.
