    Then I guess you should update the Knowledgebase

    Tietokettu is not Hetzner reseller
    they're using ElmoNet(source: https://ipinfo.io/109.204.224.162)
    And, Hetzner is hosting at Helsinki, but Tietokettu is hosting at Lempäälä

    We have our own datacenter and network in Helsinki.

    Nothing to do with Hetzner which is in Tuusula, not Helsinki.

    We are not dmca friendly. If we get any abuse report, we would need to suspend VPS. However, private tracker should be fine, as long as there is no abuse reports.

    First impression isn't exactly overwhelming, but GB6 seems okay.

    Tietokettu.net billing portal is extremely slow. It may take up to 20 seconds before it logs me in. Navigation through the portal ain't much faster.

    Paypal supports only subscription option (which I always cancel after I pay).

    Instant setup right after the payment.

    Virtualizator enduser panel option inside the billing portal redirects you back to the billing portal (imho. negligence from their side), but luckily you get a direct url to the control panel which is completely in Finnish language. Bad. But you can help yourself with some other virtualizator vps control panel to navigate through this one. At least that's what I did.

    Debian 12 isn't available.

    rDNS isn't supported. At least not from the control panel.

    IPv6 is available and it works out-of-the-box, but it's not added to the IPv6 management in the panel, so "Hallinnoi IPv6-aliverkonpeitteitä" aka "Manage IPv6 Subnets" doesn't do anything. You can add more IPv6 addresses from your /64 directly to VPS and they work just fine.

    My IP have some silly rDNS record from the previous client (domain still pointing to the IP) - need to request them to remove it. Not problematic I think, just silly "credits" related. It happens - will give me opportunity to test their ticket support response. :)

    edit. It seems they support ISO install, didn't go that far yet (just got it):

    AFAIK altawk uses aurologic, not hetzner

    I'm satisfied with their services overall, but there is some annoying small things.. like previously mentioned:

    • the PayPal subscription payment method (no manual/'one-time' standard payments)
    • complicated rDNS settings (works manualy via ticket & it's not free)

    Yeah, just getting there with support.
    My new VPS, or IP to be more precise, has some silly (almost phishing-like) rDNS/PTR setup from the previous client. It's still active from both sides (IP points to the domain and also domain still points to the IP).
    Domain contain "...credits.com" part. And I really don't want to be associated with that. So I requested existing rDNS removal. And they responded with "rDNS request cost 25€".
    Wtf... I don't have rDNS request but removal of old rDNS which isn't mine or alternatively IP without such a dubious rDNS/PTR record.

    I'm not sure (it's only a theory) but I think, they haven't direct access for rDNS settings, and probably their IP / upstream provider charge also them for these modifications. I know, it's not help to us :/ I can live without it (rDNS) but not happy for that. My IP is clean (checked via blacklist monitor), and it's comed with - probably their "upstream's" default - rDNS ('host-....elmo[.]fi'). Maybe you have bad luck with the IP you got assigned :/
