kzedkzed Member

hi.
as mentioned in the tittle.
let say i have 3 VPSes, how to setting up a private ip address on each vps so they can communicate each other with that private IP address
something like:

VPS1 -> 192.168.168.1
VPS2 -> 192.168.168.2
VPS3 -> 192.168.168.3

  • What virtualization type? What panel?

  • OpenVZ..
    but one of my VPS is KVM...

  • You can use a VPN to do this if they are all at different providers. If they are all at the same provider, and on the same node (you can check this in your control panel), then they might have an internal IP address that you can use to communicate between your VPSs.

  • they all at different providers.
    i was tried using gre iptunnel, but its only able to connect 2 vps,
    or am i missing something about gre tunneling? >.<

  • You can do this easily with tinc

  • What you are asking to do here is essentially put them on their own subnet, not sure you can do that yourself, you'd need to contact your vps provider
